Could it be the lull before the storm?
As the sun dawned over the Nation's capital city less than a week ago, all the talk was of the large event about to unfold. A huge audience of patriotic citizens was expected and that projection was found to be much less than what it turned out to be as large throngs of excited citizens came to town to support the man they loved as their President. Why do they love him so? Well, because he proved himself to the the only President in my lifetime to have worked to enact all of his campaign promises and delivered all that he could. He would have done more had his own party not stood in his way on so many issues. The crowd was orderly and cheerful, even gathering to sing hymns of praise to their God while they then listened intently to the President speak about why he does what he does. His speech was honest but unthreatening and urged the crowd when he was done to go to march to the Capitol to peaceful stand for his plans which they supported eagerly. What did the plans call for? They called for support for constitutional governance and a return to the Spirit of America which centers itself on One Nation Under God.
Sadly, after a day of joy and good citizenship being practiced, some terrorists ruined it by breaking into the US Capitol. Or should I say be ushered in by the police who literally opened the gates and let them in. Were there any of the good rally attendees included and the answer is yes, a number were. But they were not the violent ones only curious, while those who came off of busses escorted by the police to the Capitol, created mayhem and some destruction. Now it doesn't matter who did what in the sense that anyone who entered the Capitol that day violated the law should and will be prosecuted. But to say that it was a massive display of terrorism by the peaceful attendees of the day long rally is absolutely untrue and you can't look at the videos of the event without realizing that. And it is amazing how both the media and all those others who hate the President could say that after literally ignoring the months of violence in the cities of America over the last several months is disgraceful and everyone knows it. And why is this?
Well, it's for this reason. There is a large group, but not nearly the majority of Americans, who want to change our society in ways that most don't want. They want to undo what our Founders accomplished and turn to Socialism, a way of governance which has never worked and has always causes pain and suffering everywhere it is tried. And they want to censor free speech and force those who disagree with them to accept their sordid edicts or else suffer greatly. We are already seeing it to day in the massive violations of free speech which are now underway. Will their initial effort to force change be accepted? Well, that is where the Spirit of America with the backing of God comes in. And while the outcome is not yet known, I feel strongly in my heart that those possessed of this Spirit, a large majority, including many who remain silent in our society, is rising up in ways that others can't even fathom and when they fully do, it will make the attendance in Washington last week look like a small gathering by comparison.
Here's the thing, my friends, and it can best be explained in the words of Admiral Yamamoto, the Commander of the Japanese Navy who led the attack on Pearl Harbor to start World War II and America's war with Japan in 1941.l After receiving reports of the results of the bombing raid, Admiral Yamamoto raised his eyebrows when learning that not a single American aircraft carrier was in port to be destroyed. And here are the words the Admiral said:
"I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant," or words to that effect upon realizing that the one class of ships he wanted to destroy was the one which served as a floating aircraft runway for attacks on Japan.
Yamamoto was right then as the Spirit of America Under God rose up and won the day. The Admiral saw it coming and ended up leaving his post in disgrace since he was not victorious and ultimately ended his own life. Perhaps the Spirit of America Under God today will rise up and win this day as well. Only time and faith will provide the answer in good time.
