So the question this morning is this: Are we no longer a nation of laws or have we become just another tyrannical nation of men (meaning human beings), mortal and often evil men who believe that anything goes as long as they feel like it. It surely looks that way from the timidity and lack of backbone and character of our politicians who just either inflame or stand by and watch an orderly society crumble. The media plays a major part as well, actively portraying the protestors and those who were violent as the victims and making excuses for violent outbursts, even murder, insinuating tht law abiding and decent Americans are guilty for their actions. Whatever happened to free will and the right to choose but in so doing suffering the consequences of what you reap? Oh, that's right, if you are one of the selected "poor and downtrodden" that is so critical to liberal "feelings", then you can do no wrong.
This has been building for a long time and with identified and nationally-recognized community organizers being seen among the groups gathering and fomenting hate wherever they go, they build a crescendo of hate and the mob mentality takes hold. But regardless of what you think, if we give up the rule of law, based upon actions that violate all laws and politicians pushing this new agenda of chaos, our society as we know it will die. Actually, it's quite possible that the desire of one world government proponents see this as a way to build their agenda and plenty of it is also tied to the Left's hatred of good citizens being allowed to own guns.
Despite plenty of evidence that government creates more problems than it ever solves, it's a fact that the average citizen always looks to that same incapable body to solve those problems. Some people never learn and as we further "dumb down" society it is likely to only get worse.
After each one of these shootings, the rest of the story always starts to unfold, like the Trayvon case in Sanford, Florida; Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri; or even Freddie Gray in Baltimore, and now Dallas, Minneapolis and others cities. The rule of law requires it to follow it's course; justice can't be meted out based upon a biased opinion or misguided ideology. Facts are needed and the law needs to be based on facts. But the media was so quick to create opinion as the arm of the Left that the flames have already been stirred. Sadly, in the case of the five dead police officers protecting the protestors and who had nothing to do with the killing generating all of the furor, there will never be any justice. And now their brothers and sisters in arms around the country have to not only cover their territory with their usual procedures, but be alert for new threats which they should never have to face.
And yet we never hear a "peep" from the Administration about Obama's Chicago bloodbath and Hillary puts out the word that white Americans must change. No, Hillary, let's enforce the law, investigate the facts and respond accordingly, not according to a narrative that is increasingly showing itself to be bogus. It's not about race, it's about what is lawful and we need to put it in that perspective. And if it is really a case to justify complete federalization of America's police as some are beginning to presume, then the idea of a free and honest society under law will be dead forever and we'll have a full force police state, not local police working for their communities, but in a realm which would make a Hitler or a Stalin or a future American despot extremely proud.
May we all seek the guidance and serenity of God to help save America from her own undoing. And may we seek real justice under God, not for political advantage. Political maneuvering as a basis for decisions which should be based on truth never turn out well and usually makes things so much worse. We can't survive like that.
