D'Souza is quite an artist; his books are excellent and his movies are even better. He has an uncanny ability to take what could be a subject of tedium and turn it into a colorful and entertaining event while sticking to the truth, throwing off the chains of political correctness. And herein lies his problem; the Left and more particularly the Obama Administration are petrified of him. They see him as a threat to their attempt to radically and permanently change America by his ability to present history's truth in a way that can be understood by all.
They've been after D'Souza tooth and nail, starting with his current indictment for violating campaign finance laws. D'Souza has admitted that he erred in contributing funds to a candidate for office in New York, yet his violation was paltry by normal standards and normally such matters are handled with a fine and a slap on the wrist.....that is unless you are a Conservative. Apparently the government wants to really go after him and he is prepared for the inevitable battle in the courtroom while the mainstream media tries to paint him out as a villain.
Meanwhile Administration corruption throughout the Executive Branch goes on unabated and poor Dinesh is left hanging except for one thing; he has built quite a following among Conservatives and they are rallying to him in many ways. So, the Left just keeps on with dirty tricks to try and keep his message from getting full visibility.
The latest such action came today from of all places, Costco. It seems that the co-founder, former CEO and current Director Jim Sinegal is a major league Obama supporter and, effective July 15, D'Souza's latest book is being pulled from the Costco shelves. They claim it's because it is not selling yet it is already No. 1 on the Amazon list, not bad with the movie just out. It should grow in sales rapidly following the movie release and Costco will undoubtedly come up with some other reason for removing it. But the real truth is the Left just can't bear to face the truth, that's why political correctness, an immoral form of historical manipulation was created in the first place.
I hope all of you will see his movie, consider his books, and speak out for this man who has some similarity in circumstances of life to Obama with one major difference, Dinesh developed and holds a strong love for the adopted land that he calls his home. And Obama can't come close to the intellect, reasoning skill and genuine humanity of a D'Souza, a man who has made his own way through hard work and dedication.
God bless him and pray for him in the days and weeks to come. He is going to face some trying times but with the moral strength and fortitude that he has, Dinesh D'Souza will come out on top and I think Costco will quickly realize they've made a bad decision. Let's all just shop somewhere else.
