Another day gives us another opportunity to improve ourselves, to try and do a better job of living in His image. After all, His love and grace gives us hope in a troubled world, and we need to take that hope, use it to open our hearts and let the Holy Spirit within us help us to strengthen our faith and thereby reinforce our belief in Him. He is a loving and merciful God and He wants us to recognize Him as the only one who can make our life complete.
Now I must confess, I didn't always believe by faith so strongly, There were times in my life that I thought I had all the answers unto myself and could make things happen independently, but they never turned out as I thought. Plus, even in those cases where I thought they did, I didn't feel as fulfilled as I expected. I guess some of it was just having to experience the truth through learning and sometimes it is a very harsh lesson. But now that I have the time to watch what goes on closely in my living environment and appreciate all the things that surround me, it is clear that the Master created all those things as well as we who witness them. That means that our future lies in Him, not our frail and imperfect selves or society.
Each morning when I awake, I thank Him for giving me another chance to further improve myself for Him. Only with Him at my side can I do that. How about you? Do you take life for granted and think that the only thing that matters is your success as measured by earthly things. I used to be that way as well. But if we take time to really stop and smell the roses, meaning the beauty and the glory of nature around us, it is just logical that we begin to recognize the truth. The truth is that this earth and all things in it are the creation of someone so smart, so capable and so all encompassing, that we are here for a reason which is very important. That reason is to live in His image in a place He gave us. At that point, with your heart open to His message, it will grow within you and it will make the whole world a better place.
Have a blessed day.
