They want to do this fast so that it can be completed before and election year. They know that it is unpopular and they are counting on your forgetting about it after the fact. Don't let them get away with it.
I find it particularly distasteful to learn that many of the leaders in the Republican Party once again want to sell out their base to big business at a time when no one can find full-time work and household income is dropping. It's as if they just don't care about the voters who put them in office and I think it is important that we speak up. The one conservative talk radio personality willing to stay on top of this is Laura Ingraham, and she is trying her best to challenge any and all moves the politicos make and put out a call to action for her listeners. God bless you, Laura.
It is clear that the Republican base is fed up with the Party, yet the DC Establishment continues to turn a deaf ear. And to find out that representatives who call themselves loyal conservatives such as Wisconsin's Paul Ryan, Majority Leader Eric Cantor of Virginia and Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, also of Virginia seem to be siding with Guttierez, a known advocate of La Raza and all it stands for, is outrageous. Stop talking about bringing illegals out of the shadows. They are already out of the shadows, in many places receiving unearned benefits and tying up emergency rooms and our schools. Stop rewarding lawbreakers.
Kenneth Palinkas, Council President for US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agents, has spoken out to the Congress about the pitfalls of pushing forward legislation which does nothing to secure the border while opening up America to millions of illegals who will provide cheap labor and direct competition against our own unemployed citizens. Yet, despite this, a determined group of politicians continues to try to craft something they can jam through in the dark of night. It's as if they are deliberately trying to give Barack Obama just what he wants and give him cover for it. Outrageous.
Patriots, I know we are all overwhelmed today by trying to keep track and focused on multiple issues at once. But we have no choice, and I urge you that while also working to support a streamlined government through the long term budget process you also let your Congressman know that you will not, under any circumstances, accept amnesty and its consequences on your family. They can call it what they want, but it's still amnesty, for any reward to lawbreakers is just that.
Close the border, make sure that is working effectively, and then hold a conversation with the American people about immigration reform, not amnesty. And during this conversation, Congress, learn what America wants and stop taking sides with non-citizens against our citizens. And citizens, tell your representative that if he/she continues to insist on pushing immigration against your will in cahoots with the US Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers, as well as the Democratic Party, they will be looking for work after the next election cycle.
If they think there is a firestorm over Obama's treatment of vets and deceased heroes, just think about the rising outrage caused by the favorable treatment given to an illegal group by the Park Service this week. America's dander is rising and it's not a furor in support of immigration. Keep the heat on the immigration issue and just say no to the House of Representatives. It's not a priority now and it needs to go away, period. The priority is putting American citizens back to work with decent jobs and opportunity.
Keep it up, Congressional Republicans, and you guys will be the ones living in the shadows, the shadows of irrelevancy when you return home after being defeated. Come on, America, we deserve better than this. And to those truly conservative Congressman I say, keep up the fight, go public with all that is going on, and we will support you.
