Arizona State (9-2) #13 at the University of Arizona (9-2) #11. Things will be rocking at Arizona Stadium in Tucson at 3:30 (EST) as the Arizona Wildcats host their archrivals, the ASU Sun Devils in a game that has lots of meaning this year. Dubbed as the Territorial Bowl, with bragging rights for the State of Arizona, both teams have had outstanding records and both have a shot at the PAC-12 South division title. In any event, both squads are likely to receive good bowl bids and look for a wild game with a flurry of a finish. You can throw out the odds on this one, these two go at each other tooth and nail and no one quits until the final gun.
Florida (6-4) at Florida State (11-0) #3. Down here in the Sunshine State in Tallahassee, The FSU Seminoles also host their archrival, the Florida Gators, at 3:30 (EST) in Doak Walker Stadium. The undefeated 'Noles are a big favorite but, again, this game usually carries with it a lot of surprises based on team spirit due to the strength of the rivalry. And the Gators would like nothing better than to spoil the FSU unbeaten record, plus they would like to wish their popular coach, Will Muschamp, bon voyage with an upset. But the 'Noles are playing at home before a rabid crowd so they should have all the incentive they need to give it their best.
And there are lots of other good games this weekend, so every fan should have a great selection to pick from. Maybe it's South Carolina-Clemson or USC-UCLA. Whichever you choose, it's a great time to see some good teams playing their hearts out, so grab a turkey sandwich and some cranberry sauce and tune in. And ladies, you don't have to worry about the guys getting in any trouble since they will be well occupied while you shop. It's just a great time to do what you want without worrying about all of the bad news and issues which trouble us so frequently. Let's take advantage of it.
Then on Monday we can turn our thoughts back to the issues of life and vow to do what we can to make things better. It will be a lot easier to face after a fun break. Enjoy the fun and may the best teams win, especially if one is Arizona. We'll see later how things turn out. Don't worry, be happy. See you later.
