Now the Left will tell you that this will never work, that Donald Trump will be a disaster and that the Democrats will be a shoo-in, yet anyone who thinks that is drinking something heavier than Kool-Aid. And while Donald Trump is certainly no Ronald Reagan, he does possess the drive, determination and go-power to win the election and if he does, he will be smart to use Mike Pence as a great go-between with the Congress of the United States. Trump has the business organizational savvy and Pence knows the inner-workings of Congress and is still well liked by the many who are still in office.
The division remaining within the Republican Party has been minimized and I think more will be done to pull those few outcasts back in the fold. Trump will draw from the huge amount of talent that the party has and put together a team that will make the nation proud. Picture that in comparison to the Democrats, who present themselves as opposed to all things traditionally American as they try to continue the destruction of the country which Barack Obama has wrought.
In politics, most Americans are familiar with a general rule that if you can find a candidate who you agree with eighty percent of the time you should embrace them. Listening to Donald Trump's remarks about so many subjects, it seems that anyone who loves America should find that number contained in his remarks. Like any politician, we can always find areas of disagreement and we should, for none of us if we are realistic will agree on everything. But when comparing what was presented last night to what we are sure to hear next week, it is certain to be like comparing the America we want to a wheezing and dying banana republic.
Pay attention to the Democrats next week. Listen to the speeches and what they stand for. Do more research on Hillary and her running mate, be it Tim Kaine, Tom Vilseck or whoever. Don't limit your review to the mainstream media which we know is in the tank, no, look across the spectrum. The conclusion should be so obvious that you really can't miss it. Opportunity versus a lower standard of living. Individualism versus collectivism. Continuation of a bloated bureaucracy and budget versus a streamlined and efficient operation. A military which can handle any contingency versus one which has become nothing more than a social experiment. And a nation with borders and tough entry standards versus one with no controls and no checks on whoever wants to enter. The list can go on forever. Compare and contrast the two campaigns and what they stand for and go with the winner.
Donald Trump is a winner. He will work hard for America and for Americans, putting us first. Let's just do this thing and Make America Great Again.
