Trump sent a message loud and clear to Europe by visiting Poland prior to traveling to the G2o meeting. While he desires to work with Europe on those things worthy of our long years of friendship including mutual defense, he wanted to also let them know that on the questions of sovereignty and self-determination, Americans would do like the Poles and make up their own minds without international interference. And realizing that on his next stop, visiting with Angela Merkel of Germany and Vladimir Putin of Russia in conjunction with the G20 meeting, he wanted to make it clear that his decisions on international matters would always be subject to what was best for America. While many express their disagreement on that, Trump is only doing just what he said he would do when he ran for office.
How easily we forget that the United States was founded after a bloody war with Britain to gain freedom and sovereignty from the Crown. That same determination remains today and it had much to do with the election of Trump. As we had no desire to be subservient to a tyrannical monarch, today we have no desire to be subservient to a non-elected body of bureaucrats who think they know better than American citizens what is best for America. America has been the whipping boy for world elites for the problems of the world, yet the United States has done more than anyone for the rights of free loving people everywhere to live their lives with as much autonomy as possible while allowing them to worship the God they revere. And the elites don't like that, for it keeps them from gaining the control they seek over the world.
Trump knows that, the Poles know that and deep inside themselves so do our antagonists. What they seek is our money, not our action. And that's why it was so important this day for the President of the United States to send a very direct challenge to them. He did so by visiting the brave people of Poland today for all the world to see. Thank you, Mr. President, and may God safely protect you on your journey through foreign lands and safely return you to America when your mission is done.
