In the first item, the question is simple: Should military personnel be allowed to carry weapons while on regular duty? And while I understand how some are so fearful of lawful people using their freedom to hold arms, it is important to understand that their fear needs to be directed to those who aren't lawful who hold guns, for that is where the problem lies.
Folks, I doubt that the military under this Commander-in-Chief will ever be allowed to carry arms to work, for remember that the prohibition was started under Bill Clinton in 1993 and continued by Bill Clinton. But our military will continue to be sitting ducks here in America due to our non-existent entry requirements for illegals from all over the world. So the government has decided that their answer is to have military recruiters out in the public in civilian clothes not the distinctive military uniform which catches the eye. I guess we need to start the draft, folks, because having a guy who looks like an insurance salesman trying to sell them on the military.
On the other issue, Trump vs. McCain, I'll leave most of my comments to the show. Let's just say that Trump should probably make a brief apology and then move on to continuing to tell us the truth that the politicians don't want to hear. And John McCain, well, he has a lot of explaining to do about his political positions but not for his service, which we all should honor. Let's put this distraction to bed and get on with the real issues that impact you and me.
Hope you'll listen in tonight, it should be fun. Here's the link to the show which is live at 9 pm ET. It will then be available on demand.
