Why do I say this is what Army pride should be all about? Well, I do so because both of these men would have been great assets to the branch of service of which I was an active member and yet both decided against making a career of it. And I suspect that one of the key reasons is due to the Army's loss of its sense of mission, becoming politically correct, succumbing to Administration pressure to endorse social activism, social engineering and standards that only a generation ago would have been deemed immoral by senior military officers.
I don't want to give away the details of my program for tonight on North Florida Writer Live so I will leave you with this teaser. But I assure you that we will discuss where the Army and I dare say all of the American military branches have gone wrong in recent years. Our power is waning, our prestige is wanting and our best and brightest are leaving military service in huge numbers as the morale plummets and the value of the missions assigned become more and more degrading. We will talk about this and the two fine young men tonight in hopes that we can light a fire in the American Spirit to bring our military pride back to that which has routinely saved freedom throughout the world.

It will be live at 9:30 tonight and then available on demand 24/7 thereafter. I hope that you will join me as we discuss what has happened and why it is not in the best interest of the security of America. I pray that we wake up and change our national course before it is too late. The whole world is watching and hoping that America will return to the leadership position of strength that allows for a peaceful world.
