Well, recently one of the most thorough oversight organizations on the Right in America, Judicial Watch, has become involved in an investigation of voting in California and it has found that large numbers of people have been illegally registered to vote in the state , with the worst case being in Los Angeles County. The Election Integrity Project California has found that eleven counties in the state have more registered voters than citizens eligible and in L.A. that number is 144%. And seriously, folks, if you think this is just shoddy record keeping and not a fraudulent activity ongoing you need to look real carefully at whatever it is you are putting in your coffee in the morning.
And now Judicial Watch, working with the election integrity organization, has sent notice to the L.A. voting registrar that they want an explanation. They want the issue straightened out and have put the state on notice that lack of speedy response will result in a lawsuit. Judicial Watch has a sterling reputation for taking on fraud and voting is just one of the areas where they have recently placed their emphasis. Any citizens wanting fairness in voting and accountability for the administration of voting should be thankful for their action.
Meanwhile, the President's Commission on Voting continues and surely this information from California will be carefully evaluated. And if more examples as egregious as this one continue to surface, it's indicative of just how serious the problem is. But the media, of course, will try to ignore it since they don't want a free and fair election process. They just seek a government made up of Leftists who share their political views. That, in a nutshell, is what this is all about.
I wish Judicial Watch well and hope their efforts result in the truth about what is going on in California and so much of the nation. And it's why picture identification is so necessary. Hopefully, that will be a principal recommendation of the Commission when its work is done.
