What was amazing is the way Hillary tried to look like she was being moderate and reasonable on healthcare while Bernie, the one openly avowed socialist among the three of similar views on stage, made it clear that he favors single payer and is the only one to tell the truth about his position. And while I don't agree with almost anything he stands for, I will give him an A for honesty on his positions, something which is anathema to the Clinton playbook.
So when Hillary responded to a Bernie comment on healthcare, she said that his single payer system would destroy our great healthcare system that is Obamacare. Kidding you not, the author of the failed attempt at Hillarycare which was resurrected as Obamacare, or the Affordable Care Act, stated that Bernie's approach would destroy our wonderful and great choice, affordable healthcare. Come on, folks, doesn't Hillary know that we know that both her attempt and Obama's successful venture at centralizing healthcare decisions and delivery were merely the first step at forcing us into a single payer system? And doesn't she know that it has already started its death throes with three major health insurance firms including United Healthcare already bailing out?
Oh, the lies just drone on and on. Fortunately, most Americans understand just how bad things are as they continue to get worse. But, of course, with Hillary, unless money is attached to the truth, she would never recognize it. And since the truth has nothing to do with money, she has no reason in her mind to use it. Yet Hillary and Bill have gotten away with it for far too long. No more, Hillary, for America has finally paid attention and your jig is up.
And as for Bernie, well, your delusion with growing money on trees, while it brings you a certain following, will not put you over the top. Just go on back to Vermont and continue living off the public dole in the Senate. America may not like it, but at least they can tolerate it. But as a leader of the democratic republic, it's just not going to happen.
