Tonight at 9:02 pm on North Florida Writer Live, we will discuss the debate and highlight the things that we think were noteworthy and important. Joining me will be Patrick Read, founder and editor-in-chief of The Conservative Report (conservativereport.org). We look to have a free flowing discussion about the debate and who did well and who did poorly. We will also discuss the entire Republican debate process and attempt to answer the question, why did the Republican National Committee (RNC) allow such a liberally biased moderating team lead the quetioning? Chairman Reince Preibus needs to answer that question since his actions make no sense.
Patrick and I can get quite passionate in our political beliefs but I promise we will try not to talk over one another. There's a long way to go in this political slog but I think the ones who will be in it for the duration are becoming more and more obvious. Trump, of course, is one with his strong personality and financial strength; Cruz has run a very smart campaign thus far and is well funded for the long run, showing some great spark in his comments last night; Rubio is likely to be the Establishment darling to take the place of the faltering Jeb and Dr. Carson is learning as he goes and while last night wasn't his best performance he is anything but done.
Hopefully, Jeb and John Kasich and the second tier will all drop out soon. With the exception of Bobby Jindal, I see them as a drag on the show at a time when America is looking for a fresh start with new talent. But nothing is sure in politics so we'll just have to wait and see. I hope you will join us tonight. Here's the link:
