Now I know when most of us see a passage from the Revelation of St. John the Divine we tend to be uneasy and unsure, for there is no book of the Bible that causes so much consternation. Oh, we can read about the strife and turmoil as well as the goodness and light in the Word of God, but the Revelation is so strong, so terrifying to many that we normally don't want to talk about it. I know from my own experience as a Sunday school teacher that it is one book I just avoid and it probably comes from my youth when I was frightened when I heard a sermon from the book. But, and it's a big but, there is something in it that I think is particularly worthy of mention these days due to the strange happenings that we see in today's turbulent world. So, with that in mind, I want to write about this subject because it seems so appropriate for what today is very much before our eyes.
Many aren't aware of it or just ignore it, but there are people in high places today who are seeking the development of a means of tracking every person on earth. With today's technology, things we never thought of not so long ago are now quite feasible, and one such possibility is the micro-chipping of everyone on earth. The Illuminati, that great collection of people in high places who think themselves largely superior the rest of us, have discussed this at length and, of course, they pose it as a possibility for finding people who are lost in a tragic earthly event such as an earthquake or major storm or for quick and convenient identification by persons to avoid having to carry so much with them. The problem is, or at least as I see it, is the factor of what kind of people are these so-called superior beings among us and what's in their heart. What we do know is that most of them have lost allegiance to God and even some who claim to be of the faith wear symbols that counter those claims in what they wear. One such thing is the upside down cross, or what some would call the Satanic Cross which have been prominently displayed by some even in a TV appearance. Oh, some say it's really nothing but an old symbol symbolic of Peter's request for death by crucifixion hanging upside down, but nowhere is that widely followed and certainly not actively in any Christian church that I've ever heard mentioned. So, why would they do so? I'll leave it as a question each of us can ponder.
But how would evil people posing as great leaders go about convincing the masses of humanity to voluntarily accept it? Well, a most likely way would be to use a major crisis where they offered something most might want without really explaining that a form of chipping or tattooing was included at all. Under such a situation, an event like a medical crisis such as a deadly virus running rampant and the development of a vaccine for it could very well be used. After all, to put a microscopic chip in a vaccine is certainly not beyond the imagination of what man can do these days and, in such case, we could be infused with just such an item unknowingly. Or, if that wouldn't work, would it be too difficult to tell the masses that being inoculated was mandatory for the common good? After all, we closed all of our businesses and moved ourselves into living like hermits without too much convincing needed. And now we see the rise of unconstitutional features used today by leaders who seem to actively enjoy seeing how far they can take their powers. In many cases they seem to revel in it as they show no compassion for those they are supposed to serve and, one thing is for sure, that is certainly not something that would make God smile.
Now, I'm not here to name names or say that something like this is going to certainly happen. But what I want to do is ask that all of us who believe in the Lord pray and ask for his provision of the power of discernment to be able to see what is happening today. So, please ask God to help us both as faithful groups and individually to understand what is driving our leaders in their decisions and to determine those who are leading us in compliance with God's wishes when he allowed them to take office from those who are up to mischief and even beyond. After all, when God said we should follow their governing authority, using that authority for a godly purpose was implied. And this same discernment ability must lead our personal decisions on how to respond to such a request or order, should that ever happen. This isn't to scare anyone, folks, but hopefully just to enlighten about what we must consider. In the end, all decisions are up to each of us individually with the help of God. And then, what happens to us in the end will be one made by God.
