Well, first of all, the White House released the 2005 104o form first and, what's more, the information in the document was previously reported in the Wall Street Journal ages ago. And it also seems the Rachel had a long lead-in railing and ranting to here announcement about Trump, so the White House just decided to put the truth out there right in the middle of her diatribe. And poor Rachel droned on and on before her scheduled release, unaware that the word was already out. But that was just the start of her humiliation.
It seems that in 2005, then businessman Trump reported income of $150 million and paid taxes of $38 million. And that was after all of his legal deductions were made. And here's the interesting thing, Trump's tax payments amounted to a twenty-five percent tax rate, comparing favorably to both Barack Obama's tax payment rates and those of Bernie Sanders, which records show were nineteen and thirteen percent, respectively. And unlike the tax approach which Hillary and Bill routinely applied, he didn't take a deduction for his underwear of all things. And as the truth came out, the President just smiled, once again allowing the unhinged media to further destroy itself.
I don't wish Maddow any bad will nor any of the mainstream media, for that matter. But I do wish they would focus on real news that has bearing on the truth in America, not continue with their dangerous policy of misleading and getting America off point. It is a disservice to the country and it is dangerous. It also causes their reporting to become irrelevant, so unless they have a career"death wish" they are accomplishing nothing.
How about, instead, "let's open our eyes that we might see." It's a big and promising world out there that is being positively energized and all of the animosity and hate out there is counterproductive and a waste of energy. Be a part of the solution not just an addition to the problem. America will be grateful.
done.
