
But especially outrageous was Kelly's attack from the get-go on Donald Trump as she tried to use the timeworn claim of a Republican war on women against him for some tweet comments in the past. Really, Ms. Kelly, with a nation going bankrupt, the Middle East on fire and about the explode, and Washington knee deep in scandal "horse droppings", you find this as a worthy subject for the front end of a debate? What's more, Ms. Kelly, it seems I recall that not long ago you said the idea of a Republican war on women was nonsense. And I must add, that this debate was one where you, Chris Wallace and Bret Baer spent more time than three of the candidates candidates while you were tooting your own horn at the expense of Americans who wanted to listen to the candidates.

If not, or if so, tune in to North Florida Writer Live tomorrow night at 9 pm (ET) as my commentary will deal with just how absurd Fox News was Thursday night. And the question that needs to be answered is why? We'll certainly take a stab at it and, at the least, I think it will be clear that the debate was nothing but an orchestrated set-up and Fox News was more than happy to do it for ratings. But will the ratings come at the cost of lost credibility and ultimate loss of market share? Only time will tell.
