In this crazy mixed up world of ours today, I hear so many who live here in the United States of America complaining daily about nearly everything under the sun. They think they are entitled to everything they want without having to pay for anything. They don't want anyone to disagree with them, always trying to silence others while grandstanding about things that they often can't even comprehend. Well, I say enough is enough. It's time for all good Americans, and there are millions and millions of us, to unite and speak the truth.
The United States of America is the greatest place on earth and there is no place that can compare with our system of government, for when exercised in accordance with what it was designed for, it provides more opportunity, more options for independent action and thought, while also giving us more choices in things we want to do and what we want to purchase. It was designed for government to clear the path so that ingenuity, hard work, and using our God-given talents to produce the best life possible could blossom for everyone. It wasn't created to make us servants of the state.
Think about it. Where else can you go to the grocery store and find so many brands and so much variety when you shop. You want meat? Do you want, steak, chops, chicken, veal, turkey and cut how and what fat content? You can't do that anywhere else, not Russia, China, at least not the majority and you certainly can't do it in Cuba or especially Venezuela, a country with rich oil reserves which now has the majority near starvation. I just cited food as an example and it can be found in so many other stores and product lines that we Americans want.
Sure we have some problems. Every nation does, but none other comes close when it comes to making life livable and trying to fix problems. And since we are humans, of course there will be mistakes, for man (or woman if you prefer) is a frail and weak creature without guidance from a Higher Power who is magnanimous. It has nothing to do with political parties, it has to do with decency, honor and a heart opened to God and we should all get down on our knees and thank God daily for making us citizens of the good old USA. I've been quite a few places overseas in my life and there is nothing else to compare. So, when you hear someone castigating our land, just tell them to get to work, do something positive and use their God-given gifts (and we all have them) to return focus to the greatness that we all inherited. God bless you and God bless America and may she ever be free.
