Look folks, I can understand voters being skeptical whenever a politician comes out with a point of view that changes, but remember, Walker is a different kind of candidate in that he has a knack for continuing his evaluation of issues and he's not afraid to admit when he has made a mistake. Furthermore, very few politicians in America have shown the courage to meet the demon in his den as Walker did in taking on union thugs with their threats and vile actions both at the Wisconsin Capitol and directed at his family as well. He weathered that storm effectively three times in four years and never faltered in accomplishing his goals.
As Breitbart reports, Walker told Beck that the first priority in getting America's economy back in order is protecting American workers and wages. He admitted that his views had changed but he met with Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama, the biggest Senate opponent to mass immigration and realized that the Senator's position was the correct one to take. He further indicated that in visiting with Texas Governor Greg Abbott he fully realized the necessity for an absolutely secure border, including both the use of advanced technology and manpower. Now that is something that the overwhelming majority of Americans are longing to hear and if he portrays it clearly and decisively in his campaign, it will strike a strong chord which has been longed for.
It's refreshing to hear a politicians admit he has made a mistake. That's not "flip flopping", that's learning and being willing to see and change personnel errors in judgment. After all, isn't that what we all have to do sometimes? And Walker's ability to shoot straight, even with an occasional error now and then, makes him human and sometimes we forget just how human politicians are.
Do you believe him or do you think he's just giving us the runaround? Well, each of us must judge for ourselves. But having watched his performance in Wisconsin and standing up to the obscene and disgusting tactics that were used against him, I'm going to make the personal judgment that he means what he says. And if that is correct, Scott Walker has just opened a great new chapter to his message of taking America back again. And I think it is a winning message with everyone but the crony capitalists and their Chamber of Commerce supporters, including so many shameless pols in Washington. That in itself is a winning argument.
So we'll just watch how it goes and as of right now I see Scott Walker and Ted Cruz as the two most honest and capable candidates for the Presidency. Now wouldn't it be nice if the two of them could somehow work out an arrangement and become a team? That would truly send the Establishment Republicans into a "tizzy" and Hillary into a downward spiral that even her liberal attack dogs can't effectively counter.
God bless both of these men and God bless America.
