I am not prepared to answer this question until one big event is resolved - the immigration bill. What will John Boehner do? Will he support the House Republican Conservatives or will he cave to the RINO spirit that he seems to be so infected with? Or, even worse, will he use a strong House bill as a "Trojan Horse", and then let House conferees, handpicked by him, go to conference with the Senate and gut the House bill?
Sadly, I think the last option is probably what he'll do. If so, then I think a third party is a good idea because we will already be headed quickly toward the total destruction of America. This country can't afford Obamacare and the influx of many millions who will end up on the taxpayer dole.
This isn't like immigration in the old days when the arriving immigrant had to have a sponsor and a job lined up. We also didn't have a Janet Napolitano as the person to be the enforcer, which we know she will not do. She has already said on previous occasions that she thinks the border is currently secured.
The current House leadership is a big problem, almost as much so as the RINOs in the Senate who insure Harry Reid and the boys get their way. I don't trust Speaker Boehner; he has let us down too often in the past and he is not very strong, so only time will tell. We'll have to wait a little bit to see.
I do know this much. If the Republican House ends up causing the Senate bill, or anything close to it, to go to Obama for signature, I am done with the Republican Party. They will have proven just how weak and spineless they are and that they are owned by the Big Business lobby, which plays them like puppets. They will be quite happy being in the minority as long as the leaders keep their perks and privilege. At that point, what difference will it make? And the answer will be, as Rush says, zip, zero, nada. This land of liberty will crumble quickly.
And that brings me to Sarah Palin, who I admire very much. Now I don't know about Sarah as a Presidential candidate, but I do know that she is a fantastic campaigner, she can draw a crowd and build enthusiasm, and I think she can do more than just about anyone to get the Republicans headed in the right direction because they are afraid of her. Maybe, just maybe, she can frighten them into doing the right thing for once. She is a much stronger person than the entire Republican leadership in both Houses put together. She has guts, she can take a punch and give one back and her energy level is astounding.
So go, Sarah, go. Shake 'em up, call 'em out and make them face the music and tell the truth. For without the truth and some honor we have nothing. Stand up for America, Sarah, and make us proud. I know you will and I'll stand with you.
