I thought about that. Just think about it; sixty hours without bureaucrats tinkering with our lives and our beliefs is certainly a good thing. No new cumbersome regulations will be created and no new "Big Brother" harassment for at least a short spell. No, for two whole days you don't have to worry about what Washington is going to do to you next, at least not until Monday.
So get your "Saturday morning confusion" chores done early and get ready for a fun and relaxing Saturday afternoon with family and friends. You might take in a movie, take a hike on a nature trail, go to a sporting event or just swing lazily in your backyard hammock. It doesn't matter, but just do something or nothing or whatever to take your mind off your troubles and smell the roses. Each of us needs time to unwind and release those frown lines and Saturday afternoon is the best time to do it.
And then tomorrow, take time to commune with your Maker in the morning, recharge those spiritual those batteries and then another afternoon for some fun. It works wonders on the mind, body and spirit and besides, Monday morning will return soon enough. You'll need to respite and the Spirit to get you through another stressful week. Save your worries about what Washington is doing to us until the Monday evening news.
Have a great weekend, everyone. We can get back to the serious stuff Monday. God bless you all.
