The city of Palmyra was previously allowed to continue with their Christian traditions under Basher Assad and was noted for its architectural marvels. The Assad regime never threatened the city and citizens had been allowed to live their lives peacefully. But after the Arab Spring, where we find more and more evidence of the involvement of the Obama Administration and Secretary of State Clinton in its creation, terror began to be threatening the town routinely. With the onset of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), not the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) which Obama uses because it includes Israel under their territory, the city has been sacked, most of its beautiful architecture has been ruined, and the United States has done nothing to end the horror and free these Christian people.
So what happened on Easter Sunday, Resurrection Sunday, that was so amazing? The Russian military, not the Americans, finally drove the last vestige of this Islamic terrorist organization out of the city. And while the city will require much rebuilding, it is of note that the first phase of return to life for the Christian community has been accomplished. And that brings up the question: Why did America do nothing while also not allowing the thousands of her refugees the opportunity to come to a Christian nation, opting instead for more and more Muslims, many of whom can not be vetted?
I think it's obvious that the current Administration has no interest whatsoever in helping Christians under siege and facing horror and death daily in the Middle East. It's hard to escape that conclusion, after all, our nation defers to the United Nations on determining who is a legitimate refugee and the UN bureaucratic arm for this effort is clearly biased against Christians in its organizational make-up. Not only that, but reports are leaked daily showing that Christians are fearful of any UN support since those few who have entered the UN refugee camps, as well as many decent Muslim women and children, have been seriously abused. It's as if ISIS is a UN front which, come to think of it, very well could be. Could it be that the entire horrific situation is just a way to generate world anguish which in turn results in the UN being considered an answer to the problem as in the New World Order. I guess time will tell, but be vigilant and pay attention and the truth of what is really going on will come out. No matter what attempts are take to silence it, the truth always ends up the winner in the end.
But at least we can be thankful to the Russian forces who turned the tide in Palmyra. Whatever their ultimate goal or reason, it did have a very positive result in this case and it happened finally on Easter Sunday. Truly the Lord does work in mysterious ways.
