But we need to step back, folks, and look at the reality of the situation. Obama is anything but a Superman. The government won't tell you these things, but there are more and more on talk radio and the internet who are coming forward with the truth. The sooner we know the truth, the sooner we will find a solution.
Now we could discuss this all day and all night and never finish, so let's instead just focus on a few things which show how the government deceives you when it releases economic data. And despite his never taking the blame for anything, President Obama, as the leader of the country, must take responsibility. If you dig deep enough you find the truth, but if you just skim the headlines and the first few paragraphs you are presented with "another world:. Here are just a few tidbits for you:
1. The unemployment rate reported by the government is fudged to the point where it is worthless as a measure of anything. While the national unemployment rate is currently 5.7%, skeptics abound including the Gallup Report which stated recently that a real rate would easily top 10%. Why the difference? Because it only mentions those who are claiming unemployment benefits. When a citizen's time runs out for benefits or he stops receiving them for any reason, he is dropped. But the problem here is that currently 93 million working age Americans are currently out of work, a huge number in a country of some 315 million.
But it gets worse. Anyone receiving unemployment who works for at least one hour earning a reported $20 or more is not counted in the weekly statistics. And, of course, since it counts temporary work the same as full time employment, it is a very poor picture of the economic picture of America.
Millions are working part-time in multiple jobs and still not making the kind of money the used to make, but they are certainly exhausted. In other words it is just a big sham used for headlines. And much of it has been caused by Obamacare, but that is a subject for another commentary.
All of the politicians, including Obama, know this, but they don't want to talk about it because then everyone, including the low information voters will know the truth. The last thing politicians, both Democrats and Republicans, want people to know is just how ineffective and borderline worthless they are.
I'll bet you also didn't know that the recent jobs created (in terms of job numbers) have all been captured by immigrants. Yet the government keeps saying it is trying to create jobs for citizens. Folks, governments don't create jobs, they can merely establish policies that make it easier for private citizens to create jobs.
2. The cost of living index leaves out key points. Ever notice how cost of living factors reported seem ridiculously low? This is because two major costs of living, fuel and food, are not included. Since most of us don't enjoy steak as often as we used to and good quality vegetables are priced through the roof, the most needed of commodities, food, should certainly be included, as should fuel, which we all must have for power and transportation. That's why they do it, to perpetuate their scam.
3. Job creation factors. Almost everything the government touches serves to hamper job creation. I mean, really, think about it. Look at government created job engines and they are all terribly in the hole. Primary example are the Postal Service and Amtrak. In fact, the only government entity that really serves its truly constitutional duty is the military which, of course, is the target of most of the budget cuts which Obama has allowed. All other agencies are like spreading mushrooms which create large volumes of new regulations which no one can understand and which cost business dearly to comply with.
And job creation statistics for the private sector count part-time just like full-time. That's why often when they report job volume increases they also show lower pay in the equation. And, again, Obamacare is a primary factor, that plus the efforts by government to feed crony-capitalism while hammering small business, the real engine of most new job growth.
4. Public presentation. The old saying about telling a lie long enough and it will be believed is, sadly, so true. The Obama Administration, the main stream media, and the Left Wing money machine has used this to try and portray things as rapidly improving. But if that is so why are we over $18 trillion in debt, have the huge out of work contingent, and see with our own eyes just how the country is falling apart. Of course, for all of the special interests based in the Washington-New York corridor, things couldn't be better. The crony capitalists and the lobbyists have a monopoly on the money and that's why the Fed keeps running the presses and the stock exchange looks so rosy (although the teeter-totter has it finally on edge).
If only the Republicans would get a spine and tell the truth, but it is obvious they are part of the charade, excepting those brave souls like Cruz, Sessions, Lee and a few more in the Senate and back benchers in the House who annoy John Boehner so. If the party of Lincoln would do its duty instead of playing along with Obama maybe we would get somewhere, but the future with the ones we have is, at best, "stale and mossy".
There's much, much more which is involved in the lie of the century, but these four areas clearly point out some of the things being done to fool a gullible public. But remember, what you see with your eyes is what is true for you and if you are out of work for all intents and purposes you are personally in a Great Depression. And until Americans take the time to really look at the entire picture, they'll drink the Kool-Aid until the bugaboo of unemployment or rising costs directly impacts them. And that is exactly where Obama is having a problem.
More and more Americans are hopelessly out of work and running out of money to cover their living expenses. And while Obama can print money and give tax breaks and free "stuff" to try and cover their shortfall, it can't last. Sooner or later the bubble will burst and when it does, the fat cat Obama supporters will run for the hills with the money while the rest of us face the reality that I think we all know is coming.
Get yourself ready and get in as defensive a posture as possible. You can ride through the storm, but it is going to be rough. I pray it won't be as bad as it looks but I fear it will make the Great Depression look like a Sunday school picnic.
You're each, of course, entitled to your own opinion but don't say I didn't warn you. There's definitely the feeling of a crash of massive proportions in the air. But if America can rid itself of the current scourge of Washington, we can come roaring back. That's the American Spirit and it's done amazing things before. We can do it again. God help us all.
