Seriously, folks, do you think that the UN Secretary General is the answer with it's plan to eliminate national borders for massive migration and implement heavy taxing schemes on the climate change issue which is more fiction than fact? Or how about Angela Merkel, hellbent on turning Germany into a third world nation in short order and even possibly a Sharia compliant nation across the board? Or the French with their penchant for answering the problem of the Muslim immigration overload with candlelight vigils after every massacre caused by that same element? And last but not least don't you wonder why David Cameron, the wimpy, whiny British Prime Minister makes millions in the United Kingdom yearn for a modern day Winston Churchill to rescue their country?
So when Barack Obama says the world is worried about Donald Trump, we should welcome and applaud that conclusion. We have a lawless President with an out-of-control Administration that is leading us down the road to disaster. We pay for international causes that are supported by those who hate America, listen to him blame America for all the world's ills, open our borders to anyone, be they diseased or impoverished (except for Christian refugees) and offer to support them with dollars that are needed for our own people who are hurting, especially our disabled and injured veterans who still are having trouble getting the care they need. And there are many more important examples but to cover them all would require a book.
The world is worried about Donald Trump because they know he will not conduct business as usual with the international community and hopefully it will start with the UN. No longer should America fund those who hate us. No longer should we be the patsy by sending our military off on all kinds of support missions for others who never pay for it. Let's face it, folks, America has been the world's "welfare backwall" for many years in addition to the Obama term and there should be strings attached to what we do. For rogue nations to respond to our help by spitting in our eye should never again be tolerated.
When Reagan first ran for office many of the same fears were expressed. He was a cowboy who didn't understand the intricacies of diplomacy and would get us in trouble. Instead, he brought down the Berlin Wall and showed the world that he knew exactly what needed to be done and earned their respect. Remember, they don't have to love us, only respect us. And every action we take should be done with its primary impact being what is best for America. When things are good for America, it's always better for those in the world who want a better life and a better world. When that happens, the free world and those who yearn to break the chains of tyranny are always better off.
Trump is, of course, no Reagan. But he is a pragmatic American who knows that we are the wrong side of history on the course that we find ourselves. Getting our border situation under control and not allowing criminals to gain access to our land, building the pride and strength of our military again and dealing fairly, not foolishly, with other nations will be a good step. Free trade is not free trade if it's not fair trade and I truly believe Donald Trump will focus on those things necessary to ramp up America, not ridicule her.
Not long ago the pundits said his campaign would be short lived yet today it is thriving and ready to wrap up the nomination if not already achieved. Now they say he can't win, yet his level of support continues to grow as the comparison of him to the opposition continues to gain him voters. And he also has a way to connect with the average American, those who are normally quiet yet have been yearning for real change, and they are coming out of the woodwork in record numbers. Will he take office as President in January 2017? We will soon find out. Enjoy the ride, folks, because we are witnessing an amazing chapter of political history being made. You don't want to miss the finale.
