In her speech, Hillary went through her various and ludicrous answers to America's problems, so many of them similar to Bernie's except not so honestly held. You know the stuff: tax the rich, help the poor, create jobs and blah, blah, blah. It was reminiscent of so much which Obama repeatedly talks about with a heavy tone of favoring certain groups of Americans over others, and it is indicative of a party which is old, out of ideas that will really make things work better the American way but, rather, will continue to lead us down the path to tyranny. It's always take from those who worked hard and give to those who work not at all in so many cases. Just a little Marx worded slightly different.
It begs the question that is so obvious when it comes to socialism but which no one really ever answers. And that question is this: How will her socialistic plans make things better for America when we see it's miserable failures wherever it is followed? And how can she, as a political follow-on to Obama, do something with his policies that have already proven to be a failure for the millions who are out of work and out of patience? The silence to the questions is deafening.
So Bernie, the man who was going to take down Wall Street and help the poor and downtrodden rise up, has now endorsed Hillary, a woman who with her husband have been tied more tightly at the hip to the Wall Street "cartel" than any Republican. For you see, the majority of the big money makers on Wall Street these days are solidly in the Democratic camp and it's obvious if you just do a little research. But remember, you have to look closely since the main stream media won't touch the subject; they were in the tank for Obama and with Hillary now.
Now the Republicans have problems, too, with the Establishment doing everything they can to neutralize the man who has won the overwhelming majority of primary voters. And, yes, that man, Donald Trump, can be bombastic and outspoken about his plans and views, but he is no socialist and he certainly loves America. There will be some tricks at Cleveland used against Trump because the Establishment is petrified of Trump being the President and digging into the things they've done or haven't done.
I don't think they can stop Trump although in today's world nothing is out of the realm of possibility. But with even today's NBC News poll showing Hillary now only leading Trump within the margin of error and the picture of dejected and even crying Bernie supporters leaving today's event in New Hampshire, Hillary's weakness and baggage is taking a huge toll. Could we be seeing another "almost but not enough" ending for the woman who craves power beyond all else.
Remember, Hillary could have never become a power to reckon with without President Bill's coattails and there is no doubt that they have stayed married for political convenience, not for love. She kept the "Bimbo eruptions" from destroying his Presidency, and now his personality and charm is paying her back. America knows she is not likable and clearly is not a warm personality, just the opposite of Bill. But Bill, showing age dramatically, isn't the man he was so his impact may not be nearly enough help in the months ahead.
It's gonna' be a unique Presidential campaign and the run to the finish is about to start. Keep the popcorn popping and the coffee brewing. We're gonna' see some long nights ahead. I for one will put my vote on Trump and proudly display the #NeverHillary hashtag. You must make your own conclusions.
