And now one of the best investigative journalists remaining in America, Sharyl Atkisson, has coined the term "Newsgate 2016" to describe just what is going. Hopefully all will remember her excellent work in journalism which culminated with her investigations at CBS News. She was so accurate and truthful that CBS, one of the major players in support of hiding the truth, let her go and she was actually subjected to violations of her rights by a major breach of her privacy with a break-in and her computers hacked. Since then she has become an independent journalism, still doing excellent work and writing through her own site, SharyAtkisson.com
It's a sad state of affairs when the media throws off its responsibility for fair and balanced journalism and reduces itself to serving as a propagandist for the Left, but this has been building for years. Today all of the mainstream media outlets, even to a lesser degree, Fox have thrown in with the Clinton campaign. Yet brave and unrelenting members of the new media, operating on the internet, have taken up the challenge of reporting on the truth. Investigative journalists such as Atkisson, members of the Breitbart organization, Matt Drudge, and young James O'Keefe, are carrying the banner today. And even the National Enquirer, a source some might call less than tasteful, has had an amazing track record of accuracy. The Enquirer is even planning an expose of Hillary's personal life today, certainly fair play in light of the way the Democrats have muddied the waters.
The new social media affiliate organizations are going where the mainstream won't in search of truth. With ninety-six percent of the media self identifying as Democrats, unwilling to cover the big stories like Wikileaks and the #ProjectVeritas project regarding Democratic political corruption of the highest order, a natural vacuum was created requiring this new wave of journalism. When writers and commentators like Glenn Thrush of the Politico and organizations like the New York Times give the Hillary camp veto power of proposed political releases, it's no wonder that a stronger and fearless force of truth-seeking investigators will come forward. It's healthy for the profession and for the country, since real journalism seeks out corruption and brings out truth for all to see. Isn't that what the Fourth Estate is supposed to be all about?
It's gonna' be a wild and woolly three week stretch to election day. If you want to know the truth about what is going on, pay attention to the reports of these new and dedicated journalists. They are truly trying to make a difference by exposing Newsgate 2016 and all of the corruption it entails. Let them open your eyes and the eyes of all Americans so that they might truly see.
