What's more, it wasn't just Pelosi, but most of the women members of Congress from her party and a large number of men as well. As the camera scanned the room, few Democrats were seen to ever stand up for him for the President at any time, choosing to sit on their hands and sulk. The one notable exception was Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia, up for reelection in a state that Democrats have economically brutalized for years. Manchin knows that if he continues to parrot the Democratic line as the party swings even further Left, his election chances will be null.
But probably the most unbelievable part about the Democrat's public behavior is that it was carried out in front of a national audience where millions who really don't pay much attention to politics saw the truth. As Trump's speech drew cheers from millions of Americans nationwide seeking an economic and moral revival in the country, the way the Democrats carried themselves showed their true colors for all to see. Watch the coming days to see how the nation reacts over time, for with Trump being truthful and on focus throughout and hitting the issues that the overwhelming majority want action on, the Democrats clearly showed that they are just a rudderless party with a platform that means nothing to most of us. And if you really believe that the numbers from the Wall Street Journal-NBC poll which show a forty-four percent approval rating for Trump, you better stay on that heavy-duty Kool Aid. Sure he's got some issues and won't get total agreement on the things he wants to do; nobody ever does. But the positive energy and direction of optimism instead of continued division will only increase as success grows and it will.
And there's one other important thing to me about last night that I truly came away with. For the first time in eight years, I listened to a President deliver a speech without once calling me or those who believe like me a racist, sexist, or some type of a phobic. I am not any of those things, but I was called that because I didn't agree with the policies of a particular President. But my disagreement never had anything to do with the color of his skin but because I rejected his political philosophy. It's a philosophy of government that has never worked but routinely destroys economies and leaves people in need and/or in chains ultimately.
Let's throw away the race card and substitute the honest card for it. Let's go forward openly and honestly in a colorblind fashion, for continued division and political correctness will solve nothing. It will just make things worse. We either face our problems honestly or we'll fail as a society, for truth is the start point for finding ways to solve them.
And as for the Nancy Pelosis, the Chuck Schumers and all those of their viewpoint, come on and wake up, smell the roses and join us in making America great again. You lost, you're not going to get Trump impeached because you have no facts to back up your outlandish comments and the majority of Americans no longer buy your brand. Otherwise just hit the road, Jack (and Jill) and sink into irrelevance. It's your decision to make.
