On yesterday's radio broadcast she was right on the mark as she clearly discussed what the real problem is with Washington today. She coined it as The Revolving Door: Politics and Influence Peddling. Laura brought the subject up while talking about the "supposedly good" Republican operatives and bureaucrats in the Washington cesspool who came out jointly, fifty strong, to say that Donald Trump is unfit to be President. She gave a major example of why they are so protective of their perks and one which should alarm even the least skeptical among us.
Michael Chertoff, former Homeland Security head and a major member of this group of fifty has made millions by hawking security products to his old employer in a shameless display of influence peddling. And there you have it, folks, these supposed concerned Republicans are concerned all right. They are concerned about Donald Trump upsetting their gravy train of a set-up and the world needs to be aware. They get rich and stay entrenched in their cozy positions at the expense of the rest of us by putting their own self-interest ahead of the nation. They will accept Hillary Clinton and her far left socialist views as President rather than a Donald Trump, a far from perfect man who wants to clean the incestuous swamp.
So my hat is off to Laura today for once again taking truth to power as she always does so effectively. After all, she is one of the few who will take on bloviating Bill O'Reilly, yet she has the gift of being able to do so without losing access to him. I appreciate her grit and determination as she separates the "wheat from the chaff" in the Conservative movement daily. Keep up the good work, Laura. Your show is priceless.
