Last night was the coldest night of the winter so far; temperatures dropped ot the low to mid-20s. This morning when I looked out on my pasture I saw "Florida snow", a heavy covering of frost. Since much of our plant life had already sprouted for springtime due to the early warm weather, I guess this will set things back a bit, but major warm up starts today and by tomorrow afternoon we'll have mid 70s and a possible thundershower.
I must comment on Rand Paul on the talk show yesterday. This is a guy who is dear to my political heart. He is willing to take on anyone, Democrat or Republican, if he feels they are hurting America. Dr. Paul's primary interest is supporting freedom and individual initiative, what this country was founded on. It is amazing to me how many don't see that the more government you have, the less initiative and willingness to work you find. Rand Paul gets it.
