Yes, it is going to hurt, Mr. President, and you should be ashamed for pushing the same lies that you knew were not true way back in 2010. And, of course, the insurance companies will reap huge new profits since your program is designed to subsidize them to a guaranteed level of profit.
Meanwhile, if the Supreme Court rules against the federal exchanges that were not approved by individual states, the problem will compound itself. But maybe this is just what Obama wanted. After all, there are extensive video clips of him from years gone by where he says that his ultimate plan is for a single payer, socialized medicine program. No, you can't keep your doctor and you might not even be able to find one. After all, physician shortages are on the rise and if you look at the English National Healthcare System you will see where we are likely headed: disaster.
And I guess the most disconcerting thing about all of this is the way the Republicans have meekly accepted Obama's program; they are not even willing to put up a fight. But they know it is a bad program and for that reason they got their own staff members a special program to cover most of their costs. But the poor average American citizen isn't of any concern to the politicians except on voting day.
The best healthcare system has died and it is replaced by a joke. Just because you have an insurance policy doesn't mean anyone will accept it. That, sadly, is where this program is probably headed. You can thank the President for it if you can find him. He's probably laughing about it on the golf course.
God help America.
