
But today more good news on the jobs front surfaced concerning Trump's job growth efforts and reported in the Daily Mail of London and the Wall Street Journal. The reports cover data provided by ADP, the global human resources and payroll giant and exciting news from the Samsung Corporation, a major sources of appliances to American consumers. Both dealt with private sector employment, the engine that drives the economy.
In the case of the Daily Mail story, it reports that the February job growth in the United States is 298,000 new jobs as well as an upward revision for the prior month from 246,000 to 261,000. This means that the two month January-February period is the highest job growth number for American jobs since August-September 2015. It also indicates that job growth in February of this year is a 1.4% increase over February 2016.
In the case of Samsung, it was reported by the Journal that the appliance giant will expand manufacturing in the United States at a dollar value of $300 million with an initial gain of some 500 full time jobs, all being taken from Mexico. And what's even better is the impact it will likely have on the quality of the product, for Samsung of late has had huge warranty issues with their large washing machine business and American enterprise will be able to fix that at the source.
Donald Trump is showing that his business acumen is right on the mark and the result will be better times for so many Americans who have been hurting due to the inability to find work. Putting America first means putting American citizens first in the job market and that should be the goal of any American President. Finally, we'll focus on that goal.
