Feelings are strong and supporters of each man are very passionate for their cause, but in the process it is important that we all focus on the end result. If we get carried away with #NeverTrump and #NeverCruz and follow it through to the end of this election year, the only thing guaranteed will be a President Hillary in the White House in January. Hillary, the one who did nothing to help those poor men awaiting assistance on the roof of a building under fire in Benghazi, who used her computer illegally and without regard to its consequences regarding national security and a woman who has put gaining more personal wealth at any cost as the priority of her life, is not what America needs today. And since she is a true believer in the mission of the far left wing of her party, it is quite likely she could even exceed Obama in the effort to take our money, our guns and yes, even our life through tyrannical control over all aspects of it. Raising taxes, extreme left court appointments, and continued use of executive orders instead of the normal legislative process might even be ramped up under her guidance.
This will be our topic this evening on North Florida Writer Live at 7 tonight. Can the Republican Party come together after a bruising battle to defeat Clinton? The numbers are certainly there to do it, but if the animosity continues with the vitriol we see today, it is no easy task. Here's the thing: Trump is not Lucifer and Cruz is not a saint. They are two mortal men fighting for a position with passion and fierce competitiveness and mistakes are made. But if the voting base can't relent and calm down and face reality in the end, the only ones hurt will be all of us as our nation goes up in smoke. Let's end it with the nomination and work to win, for only with a win by either of the candidates can we avoid a demise of America as we know it. We can't afford that. So let's find peace in the valley when it's over, if for no other reason than the future for our children. God bless you, folks, and God bless America. Here's the link:
