"If he tries to keep segregated with men of his own origin and separated from the rest of America, then he isn't doing his part as an American.
"We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile. We have room for but one language here and that is the English language, for we intend to see that the crucible turns our people out as Americans, and American nationality, and not as dwellers in a polyglot boarding house; and we have room for but one soul [sic] loyalty, and that is loyalty to the American people."
- Former President Teddy Roosevelt, 1919
This will be brief since the inspiring words of Teddy Roosevelt say it all. Immigration was designed for bringing people to America with the skills we need from people who desire to become full-fledged Americans. It was not designed to attract those who are a part of the Culture of Poverty (read The Children of Sanchez by anthropologist Oscar Lewis, 1961). There are other ways to show compassion for those people without bringing them here and it is much cheaper; we can support twelve in need overseas for the price of bring one here and once here, we continue carrying the financial and social burden. We can try and whitewash history with political correctness but our system was never established to allow illegals to make the decision on whether or not they can come to America.
A nation without borders will not stand because it will no longer be a nation. When politicians violate the trust of the people and openly advocate the violation of American laws on the books, our democratic republic is in peril. One candidate supports open borders, one wants the border controlled. One wants to overload the nation with illegals who come to America seeking a "free lunch", the other adamantly opposes this.
Here is the bottom line of what has happened. Today we have over sixty-four million immigrants, illegal and otherwise, who don't speak English. And ninety percent of the arrivals within the last several years require our government's financial support here. They do not, and it appears increasingly clear, are not likely to come "off the dole" due to lack of skills and language issues. And lastly, nearly all of the recent Muslim immigrants (approximately fifty percent of the immigrant stream in recent years), many of them questionably classified as refugees, have no interest in assimilation, instead demanding that we change our social system. Christians who have been seriously harmed (including rape and torture) in those countries make up no more than two percent of the refugees being allowed entry. Why is that the case?
This is madness. This will destroy America much more readily than an attack from a foreign power and, sadly, it appears to be by design. Pay attention and vote accordingly. The decision you make will determine our future. God bless America.
