Oh, we always find them. They are either hidden in the back of the spare bedroom closet, under the spare bed behind some stored boxes, or occasionally out in the open. But wherever they are, you can bet that this little humpback knows what he is doing and it is his favorite game to play.
You see him here dressed as Santa Claus. While it is a bit early to get ready for Christmas, he loves the Holiday Season. So many wrappers, ribbons and boxes. So many things to play with and so little time. We even took him to the holiday party at church one year dressed in this outfit and he was the hit of the party. That's Buddy, a fun loving, energetic and interesting little guy who just wants a little love and a lot of mischief.
Buddy is one of the animals I discuss in my new book, Honey, We Shoulda' Bought the Ark, coming out soon from Outskirts Press. It will be on Amazon once out. My love of animals includes horses, cats, dogs, birds, the wild little guys who come calling at night on our little farm, fish, and yes, even this little ferret. Stories about Kaz the Great Dane, Joey the deer, Molly the rat terrier, Gabe the horse and many more. If you enjoy wholesome family-oriented books with a touch of Christian spirit, I hope you might consider it when it is available. It is a composite of real life stories that have blessed both my wife and me.
Here's to all the animals, truly wonderful gifts from a loving God. God bless them and God bless you.
