So think back on the message you learned yesterday in church. God is with you everywhere you go and all you have to do is commune with Him with your heart open and He will give you the strength to carry on. He knows we all have our bad moments; its just what you do to blow them off that matters. That little guy in the white hat on your shoulder, the Holy Spirit, he is with you to help you through whatever you face.
Maybe it's a tough deadline that you are struggling with or a work associate that you have trouble communicating with. Or it could be an oppressive boss or a company policy that you just think is unfair. Well, let the Holy Spirit connect you with your Lord and Savior and ask Him to guide you. Say a short prayer and read or repeat a favorite passage in the Bible. Turn your issues over to Him and He will help you get through the day and all will seem much better.
Smile, be kind to all who you meet and try and live this day as if it is the last one in your life. You will feel much better about yourself and you will likely be surprised at the response you get from others, sometimes even the one who you thought you would have the most trouble with. And don't be afraid to ask for help with a particularly troublesome issue. Most people deep down inside like to help others when they are asked. It's largely all governed by the way you present and carry yourself.
So be of good cheer. It's Monday morning and time to face more challenges with a "can do" attitude. Don't underestimate yourself and never underestimate the power of God to help you. He loves you and wants to help; he just expects you to ask.
Now go out and take on the day and appreciate every moment that life provides. Remember, there are ten people out there who probably wish they had the job you are complaining about. And may God bless you and give you peace of mind.
There, doesn't that make you feel better?
