And we're particularly lucky to have this day fall on a Saturday this year, a day off when it is much easier to celebrate and relax together than it is in the midst of a hectic work week. And you don't always have to do something extremely expensive, the real importantg thing is that you take time to let that special someone know what they mean to you.
For some it's as simple as flowers and candy, for others it's dinner and a special show and some even bring elaborate gifts. But if your budget is tight, it can be shown just as well by taking care of the chores that they normally do at home or even preparing a special dinner. I know that for me, living with my wife on a rural farm, doing the cooking for her and making something special is always a winner; she likes that. And that's what I'm getting ready to do tonight. I've actually enjoyed learning to cook and I'm pretty good at it now if I say so myself. I even have a fresh strawberry topped cheese cake to finish the event.
So whatever you do and however you celebrate, the important thing is just not to forget. For guys, you don't want to end up like this poor fellow below. And if you try to use the excuse that you forgot, don't say I didn't warn you.
Have a very special day.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, EVERYONE!
