I will be writing a few early year blogs on my personal resolutions for the year. Now some of the postings may seem similar to some published before because, of course, if my belief system is strong and matches my faith, it will not need to be thrown out, just tweaked to make me better as a person. Being a Conservative and a Christian, the basics are always there, but each of us, as we evaluate our lives, must continually try and improve since we are not perfect and we need to strive for the perfection that we cannot achieve on this earth. Let's face it, we are all fallible human and try as we might we will always come up short. But unless we identify the things we need to do better, we will never improve.
So enjoy New Year's Day and all of the parades and football games and I'll be back in the days ahead to identify what I hope to accomplish in my life in 2016 to become a better person. God expects no less of us. And as I look back at 2015, which in many ways has been a very bad year for many of us and for our country, I am grateful to my readers for allowing me into their lives in friendship through my blog and my internet radio broadcasts which can be found continuously on demand at blogtalkradio.com/northfloridawriterlive.
God bless you all and, again, Happy New Year. May it be a year of prosperity for us all and a time when America begins her comeback. Let's keep her free.
