It seems our President loves to visit L.A. He gets to socialize with the Hollywood glitterati, eyeball all of the young starlets who fawn over him and he enjoys the scandalous environment where anything goes in Tinseltown.
But, of course, the real reason is money. All of the big Hollywood producers and movie stars who enjoy special tax treatment love Obama and his left wing views. They see themselves as being superior to "flyover America" and they endorse Obama's attempts to completely obliterate the wonders that made America great. And since he is such a narcissist, he loves spending time with those who agree with him and support all of his causes. Hail to the Chief, as they say.
I've never really figured out why so many Americans put so much stock in what Hollywood actors say. I mean, really, while they are great at reading their lines, they really aren't very smart and seem so angry when they talk about politics. And for most of us, their moral code is way out of the norm. But, then again, I guess it's because of the celebrity. Many Americans love to hear of the "high life" of luxury and opulence that they lead and I guess they use it as an escape from their hum drum world.
But oh the poor average Joe and Jane who live in L.A. and must suffer through a visit from Barack. As you all know traffic is always bad in L.A., but when Barack comes a' callin' things get so much worse. All roads in his access routes, real or secondary, get closed to allow him to speed through to his destination, while millions stew sitting still on the roadway. And it seems that he always schedules his visits to coincide with rush hour.
The only other President I can think of who loved Hollywood as much and caused just as much of a hardship for the people of L.A. was Bill Clinton. Remember when LAX was literally shut down while he got a haircut on the tarmac before taking off? It seems lack of courtesy for the common man is a common Democratic Party treat. He who claims to be a big believer in the common people turns out being the biggest abuser.
Last night listening to talk radio, a producer from a show coming out of L.A. said that she would be sleeping in the studio that night. She said that because of the President's visit if she tried to get home she would probably arrive near dawn. Thank goodness for her sake that his visit is just for one night, but don't worry, he'll be back for more fun and games and, of course, largesse from his supporters.
Sorry, L.A. for all of your difficulties caused by the President and his minions. But tell me again if you will: Why did you vote for him twice? I guess you just get what you vote for.
Have a good day, everyone. God bless you all.
