But it's not just Mitch. It's the leadership of the party and many elected officials, especially in the Senate who have played the get along with Democrats game for a long time. Never mind that the Democrats always win and the Republicans always lose. It almost appears that they like to lose, or else they are just really Democrats disguised as Republicans, hence the name Republicans in Name Only.
Our most recent show currently up and running on North Florida Writer Lives discusses this situation and, more directly, the ways in which they are trying to subtly sabotage Donald Trump. We also discuss the shameless way both Republicans and Democrats refuse to tell the the truth about the happenings and cause in Orlando this past weekend at the Pulse night club involving radical Islamic terrorism. They have largely decided to take the President's approach on that and keep their heads buried in the sand. We even have a separate blog item on line about the President's shameful position on the horrific attack.
I hope you'll listen in as Mark Collier and I candidly discuss the fiasco that is our current day Republican Party. It's going to take someone like Trump to force the issue and make the party represent those who call themselves members of the Party of Lincoln. The show's available at any time. Here's the link:
