Start with President Obama and you see a mad dash to push control over people for things that we don't even know are a problem. The whole concept of Climate Change that is being pushed is based on factors that prove nothing, for there is no clear empirical evidence by which the Left validates their claim to a warming earth.
The climate change advocates use computer models, models that are likely to be shown to be based on questionable evidence. Where you place your measuring mechanisms has more than a lot to do with the results you receive, and more and more of the measurements are taken in heavily populated areas which will naturally generate more heat. Rural locations over the last generation have been used less and less so that, of course, of course the findings will show temperature rise when, in fact, earth temperatures have been holding steady for over eighteen years and are now showing signed of cooling..
And then, when Obama hawks his phony science, he flies via Air Force One over nine hundred miles one way to the Everglades where he draws a sparse crowd (see here) in a swamp prairie, then quickly returns to Washington, resulting in the use of over nine thousand gallons worth of heavy carbon emissions. This, like his fellow true believes who last year used over twenty one hundred private carbon spewers to travel to luxurious Davos, Switzerland to feign their support for a cause which their own lifestyle shuns by its very action. How many scientists do you know who come from Hollywood; these people are actors, trained to play a role not scientists.
And then there's the piece de resistance. Look at a picture showing just one small portion of the thousands of pounds of trash left on the Washington Mall grounds when the huge Earth Day crowd departed the site this year. It dovetails on last years event in New York City when revelers at a similar event left twelve tons of trash. It's kind of ironic how they criticize the Tea Party which, when marching on Washington several years ago picked up after itself. Oh, the hypocrisy of it all.
Yesterday when I tracked the weather forecast before church it stated sunny with almost zero chance of rain. While seated in church just two hours later it poured buckets of rain and I mean buckets. So we can't even predict today's weather a few hours in advance but we're supposed to believe the nonsense that pours out of the mouths of these make-believe experts who tell us what is going on throughout the earth. Nonsense. I guess that's why America and the world is waking up to the fact that science is not based on consensus, it is based on facts and these folks surely don't have the facts. After all, if that were the case we'd get it right on hurricanes wouldn't it.
And think of it another way. If research scientists receive most of their grants from government and the government has a certain ideology that it wants to support, isn't it natural that the grant seekers will try to produce a result which matches the goal. While this is just the opposite of what good science is all about, it sadly is often the way things work today. Think of it as just another angle of the big government-crony capitalims clique that we find so popular today.
Okay, I feel better now that's off my chest. And yes, climate change does exist, we get four seasons of it yearly and the world has changed forever, but to blame it principally on our carbon footprint when supporters are some of the biggest offenders makes it clearly a sham, a sham designed to control lives and money by people who aren't worthy of our trust, and that includes our illustrious President. I would suggest they all look out their window at the sun, the glorious sun, with its warmth and its flareups and fluctuations as a much more likely answer. After all, why do you think that large frozen land mass known as Greenland got it's name? It used to be a place you could grow vegetables.
Have a great day, everyone as we start a new week and God bless you all.
