Quite simply, the Democratic Party as it's mission is carried out by the Administration and officials around the country are clearly involved in a non-violent war against God and, more specifically, those who believe in Jesus Christ.
Do you remember the floor fight at the Democratic National Convention in 2012 about God? Of course you won't hear about it these days because the Democrats, always conscious of what a political decision means for votes and nothing else, want you to forget. But at the Convention, an attempt was made to take God out of any written references in their platform. It was actually removed initially. When outrage was received from many across the nation over this, the chair brought a motion up to reinstall God and during the voice voice the "No's" were clearly in the majority, yet the chair ruled for God. When the final vote was announced, those opposed lit up the arena with a roar of "Boo". A large number, probably the majority of the delegates, actually loudly proclaimed their non-allegiance to God. At that point it became readily apparent that not only had the Democratic Party been hijacked in total by Socialists, but it was something more sinister, actually a derision of America's long held majority belief in the existence of a Loving Father.
And now, in Obama's second term, the meaning of that symbolic action has become even more clear as he shows his, and the Democrats, true colors. Abortion on demand with no constraints or limits, gay marriage and the ultimate further expansion of efforts to make the entire concept of marriage between one man and one woman irrelevant, and even the removal of a soldier's right to pray openly as he prepares for battle have gained heightened emphasis and pressure. Let's just look at those few examples to show how damaging they are to our nation's moral psyche which has been based since our founding on the Ten Commandments and the teachings of Christ as a basis for a civil structure of social order. No one was required to be a believer, but the rules of order came from these works and most Americans were in fact Christians or Jews.
Abortion is a question that causes a moral dilemma for many and I am aware that many Christians favor it to a limited degree, usually in the case of rape, incest or if the life of the mother is threatened. It is a difficult question for many because of God's desire that we procreate and raise children with His love. But even if you do believe that abortion can be used in strictly limited instances, the concept of late term abortions and partial birth abortions should be seen as horrific. In these cases the likelihood of viability is high and in the worst instance, partial birth abortions, the result in my mind is clearly murder. To take a pair of surgical scissors and place them in the brain of a child ready for birth should be criminalized, yet the Democrats stand for abortion under all circumstances and Barack Obama even voted to allow aborted babies who did not die to be denied life saving treatment when he was a State Senator.
And don't try to tell me that the baby feels no pain at this point. Videos of such procedures clearly show the suffering. Such actions to me clearly defy God and His requirements for mankind.
A further iteration of this is the current efforts to force people of strong Christian conscience to pay for birth control for others even if they have strong religious principles against it. Cases are underway in the court system as devout Christians seek their freedom of religion to be honored in their lives just like Obama preaches we should do for Muslims and others. And make no mistake, America, as the leader of the Democratic Party, Barack Obama is representing just what his party leadership desires. The Democrats jumped on the Sandra Fluke bandwagon immediately and, frankly, so did a number of RINOs. So now hard working Americans of Christian belief are supposed to pay for birth control pills for all. Really?
The push for universal acceptance of marriage between two people of the same gender is another issue where Christians are being clearly persecuted. Christians don't seek to command allegiance to their view, but they are outspoken in that they should have the freedom of speech to counter some of the activities being demanded by the LGBT community. For a Christian bakery or flower shop to be forced to serve a wedding service for a gay marriage constitutes a violation of the shop owner's religious rights. Yet it is happening all over America today and it is the Democrats and their special interest groups from the LGBT faction that are pushing it so hard. They demand tolerance from Christians while they themselves are totally intolerant of Christian beliefs. And where does it end, because it is obvious in their minds that there should be no limit to immoral behavior. Threesomes? Sex with children? Animals?
There is no limit to what an evil mind can dream up.al example, let's look at what is happening to Christians in our military services. Christian Chaplains are told that they can't offer prayers in the name of their Lord and Savior, in some cases chapels have been forced to remove signs of the Cross and even individual soldiers have been told that they can't witness for Christ even in their off duty hours. Gay officers in charge of Christians have demanded them to explain themselves about their attitude toward the gay lifestyle, even when it has never been an issue. It's as if the "don't ask, don't tell" policy that was applied to gays in the military has been turned toward the Christian soldier with a modification so that it is now "we will ask and you must tell" with consequences potentially resulting in threats of courts martial or release from service. A number of service personnel have opted to leave the military by realizing that their careers weren't worth putting up with this harassment against their religion and their God.
I could go much further but I don't want to make this into a book, but I will leave you with a couple of thought provoking questions. Why do you think that Janet Napolitano, when head of Homeland Security, said that Evangelical Protests Christians and Catholics were the major threat to America, not Islamic terrorists like Nadal Hasan, the former Army Major now under death sentence for killing thirteen at Fort Hood?. And why do you think she was replaced by Jeh Johnson, who prior to becoming Secretary of Homeland Security served as the senior Defense Department attorney who drew up the legal rules by which the military would handle Christian soldiers? I'll leave these questions for you to answer yourselves.
Look folks, I don't hate Barack Obama or any of his current or former senior Cabinet members. I don't hate the active Democratic, and Republican politicians, who have allowed these things to gradually develop over time. As Jesus requires, I try to have love in my heart for all of mankind even though it is more difficult to love some than others. But I do know they are wrong on all counts and I think they are sinful, just like we are all sinful and must constantly ask for forgiveness from our Maker. And I see it as my duty, and the duty of all who truly follow Christ, to stand for and speak up about what is right and never allow anyone to silence our speech. The rights given to us in the Constitution do not come from Barack Obama, Congress, the Supreme Court or any other individual or body; they come from God Himself and it is our duty and obligation as modern day Apostles of Jesus Christ to stand for Him always.
I hope you have found these two days of blog entries interesting, thought provoking and worthwhile and I wish you peace today and hope that your life is blessed by God. Have a wonderful day in your continuing journey on earth.
