Mike Pence: A Great Decision by Donald Trump

It wasn't too terribly long ago when Indiana Governor Mike Pence made a decision that really upset many of us Conservatives.  He bowed to pressure of the liberal media and large corporations on the issue of a Christian business owner's rights to honor his religious beliefs in the way he operates his business.  But as a practicing Christian myself, I can't understate the overwhelming pressure he faced and while not excusing his lack of action on that matter I knew that this fine man should not be "thrown under the bus" over the issue.  Forgiveness and compassion are two traits that we Christians are all expected to display and in the case of Mike Pence he is in the process right now of more than making up for any weakness that he might have shown.

Governor Pence is a good Christian, a gentleman and a very clear speaking conservative politician.  But since he is a mortal human, of course he has and will from time to time make mistakes.  Despite any weaknesses, he stays calm and collected and he is a great selection by Donald Trump for Vice President.  He understands the workings of the Washington scene and will be very helpful as a man to meet with and cajole Congressional  politicians to get The Donald's plans done.  Donald is going to need his talents in pushing and getting approval for his ambitious plans, plans designed to return America to greatness by replacing the morass that we find ourselves in. And, even more important to America, Pence is a great selection to be a mere heartbeat away from the Presidency. In the event that something should happen to the President, the a Vice President would be the kind of leader that America would need in such a time. He is stable, never rattled and always focused.

Let's hope that a President Trump takes full advantage of the Governor's skills and talents in making America great again.  Knowing what I've learned about Trump's skill at selecting the right person for the right job, it is very likely he will do so.  Having a working Vice President instead of a "hood ornament" is something America needs because there is plenty of hard work to do for all who become part of a Trump Administration.

Election day is just around the corner and the polls and the general outlook in the land is looking much better for the Trump-Pence ticket.  But let's take nothing for granted.  Do what you can to bring these two men to Washington and pray for them as they labor on for the common men and women of America by putting them first.  It's been a very long time since this has happened in American politics and it might be our last chance.  We can finish off once and forever both the Clinton and Bush dynasties.  Let's drive them over the finish line next Tuesday.

God bless America and may we ever keep her free.

The Most Corrupt Candidate in American Presidential History

Picture

All day yesterday we heard the Democrats whine and moan about James Comey, calling him a disgrace and so many more derogatory terms while the information continued to come in on the degree of graft and corruption which Hillary can no longer hide from America.  And for weeks we've heard that while there might be some irregularities it is nothing like Watergate.  After reading as much as we can in just a few hours it is clear that Hillarygate makes Watergate look like a party prank.

Richard Nixon faced impeachment and resigned over a cover-up.  Hillary's situation involves criminal activity which, when identified, has require a cover-up.  Nixon wasn't involved in the Watergate activity leading to the cover-up, Hillary has been involved in Hillarygate from its initiation right on up to where w find ourselves today.

Hillary's problems go all the way back to Arkansas and earlier and began with the lust for power and money that have always been central to her character.  She has escaped from many scandals yet her husband was disgraced by his impeachment, loss of his law license and being required to pay nearly a million dollars to Paula Jones to make her charges of sexual impropriety against the then sitting Governor to go away. Hillary, of course, was his chief supporter and managed the handling of his "Bimbo eruption" scandals both in Little Rock and later in the White House by mercilessly going after the women who had been abused in various forms.  And even before those days she was fired as a member of the Watergate prosecution team for falsifying evidence. She no longer has her law license as well.

In addition to those past days of handling the women issues, Hillary was involved in the Whitewater land deal, Travelgate and questionable actions following the death of Vince Foster, to name a few.  She always escaped from accountability while never losing the taint of improper action and the questions have always remained.  Through it all she has always blamed it on a "Right wing conspiracy" or the "War on Women."  But the icing on the cake came with her position as Secretary of State.

When you get away with corruption, it only gets worse and now we find ourselves with thousands of emails coming out clearly showing the depths of corruption in her duties as Secretary of State.  Benghazi is what we most remember, but the pay for play actions for money, trading influence in American policy for money impacting the lives of all Americans is well documented and even James Comey finally had to reopen the prior closed investigation because of the depth of the violations.  And now today Hillary has tossed away her always loyal assistant, Huma Abedin,  acting as if she hardly knows her. Loyalty to subordinates ends with Hillary when they are either no longer useful or become a threat to her schemes.

Not going into detail but just to show the gravity of the possible charges, Hillary could face trial for perjury, obstruction, of justice, bribery, influence peddling, racketeering and fraud.  Each of these activities are criminal and this doesn't even get into the security violations with her computer.  Through it all she didn't even attempt to compartmentalize her actions, lumping personal, Clinton Foundation and State Department issues all together in one giant bundle that she thought she could hide.  It's truly amazing that the immoral doings of a man named Weiner is now playing such a big part in adding to the already known Wikileaks issues.  How fitting and how fateful.

Now we hear that the Justice Department has stated that it will step in and "help" the FBI so that the potential issues can be initially evaluated quickly.  Will Attorney General Loretta Lynch, a woman who is gaining the reputation as "Take the Fifth Loretta", assert herself through her leading official in the Department of Justice efforts, Peter Kadzik, friend of John Podesta or will she let justice take it's course?  Kadzik's involvement clearly shows a major conflict of interest but, then again, Lynch saw no problem with a private airport meeting with Bill Clinton just before Comey provided his initial recommendations.

All of this brings up questions we all must ponder for the fate of our nation very well lies in the balance. We must hope and pray that Attorney General Comey doesn't fall for what is likely a cover up attempt.  The Clinton people will clearly stop at nothing.

The bottom line is this.  Since we all now know what Wikileaks has released and also have seen videos of the Democrats' shameful activities bravely displayed  by Project Veritas, it is imperative to vote for Donald Trump regardless of the ongoing chicanery.  If we allow a new Administration to take office which shows no indication to follow the rule of law, America will never recover.  Trump may not be perfect, but he's the only hope we have so vote like your life depends on it.  If freedom and liberty are what you consider proper living, it does.

Trump Covers the Country While Hillary Heads to the Bar

PictureLarge crowd for Trump last night in Albuquerque
Happy Halloween everyone and how appropriate for this election time.  Things are going on in politics that are just about as crazy as the costumes that will be seen tonight. Donald Trump is highly energetic, surging on the latest news from Washington and hop scotching around the country to see voters in as many states as possible.  Meanwhile, Hillary, looking wan and weak, bellies up to the bar at mid-morning Sunday and talks to maybe a dozen patrons. In all fairness, though, she probably needed a drink.

The energetic Trump, reading the tea leaves of what is going on, decided to open up his campaign effort and go into a number of blue states.  This can only mean that internal polling shows a weakness in Hillary's support base and The Donald is going after it.  Yesterday while Hillary was at the bar and otherwise rather quiet, he visited Las Vegas, Greeley, Colorado and even Albuquerque, the capital of New Mexico.  Nevada is a clear battleground state, but Colorado and New Mexico as of late have been shown in the Hillary camp, so Trump wouldn't be going there if something didn't appear to be breaking.

Today Trump is in Michigan for two rallies and Michigan has, of course, been seen as an unlikely state for Trump. Michigan hasn't voted Republican for President since 1988 so again something must be telling for the Trump campaign.  And beginning tomorrow we should see if the trending in polls shows any major change following the FBI announcement last Friday.  In the meantime, however, polls are already showing a slow change in the Real Clear Politics average as more recent polls portend the loss of some support for Clinton.

We probably won't have any final answers on the FBI continuing probe before election day since over 650,000 emails must be checked.  Rumors abound all over the place so it is best to second guess anything.  But one thing is certain, despite our personal views or wishes, it is almost a certainty that if the FBI didn't have very major concerns of wrongdoing pertinent to candidate Hillary and her campaign, they would never have taken the steps they have taken.  And as for James Comey, he is now taking heat from Democrats the way he did from Republicans just a few months ago.  In many ways he is between a rock and a hard place and perhaps the best advice that anyone can give him is to serve the truth, for whatever that is it is what's best for the country he serves.

Pray for our country, folks, and for her salvation.  We are in very dangerous times and the short term future may very well determine whether or not America as we love her and want to see her will remain recognizable.  God bless America and may she ever be free.

SUNDAY MORNING COMING DOWN: The Road to Heaven is the Road of Jesus

10/30/2016

Picture
For the gate is narrow and the way is the way that leads to life, and those who find it are few.       - Matthew 7:14

The verse cited in Matthew tells us how we can live forever.  It's as simple as having faith, believing in Jesus Christ as your Savior with that faith and following his guidelines for living.  Jesus was a Jew who believed in the Law of the Old Testament (The Torah) but he also brought something new, the opportunity for Salvation from sin and the opportunity to live forever as presented in the New Covenant, the New Testament.

Yes, the concept is a simple one but the execution is extremely difficult and that's why the scripture talks about the narrow gate and the difficulty in finding it.  And why is a simple concept so difficult to successfully follow?  Well, it's because we are mortal sinners, born into sin and possessing weakness where we need strength. It's hard to do the right thing when there are so many temptations designed to make you stray and the Prince of Darkness is always around looking for your weakness and ready to strike.

That, my friends, is why God gave us Our Savior, Jesus Christ. Sent to earth as both man and God, He lived here in the human flesh and was tempted Himself.  Only He was strong enough to withstand all pressures and then He fulfilled His mission, dying on the Cross that we might have the opportunity to live.  And even after he was resurrected and then ascended to the Father, He sent the third person of God to earth to enter us and give us the strength to fend off evil in our lives and declare our belief in Jesus through faith.  And when we make that commitment we finally find the Way, the Truth and the Life.  It's not easy, it takes constant vigilance, but it's ours for the taking if we truly believe.

The choice is one of free will. We can choose to live forever with and through Him or succumb to evil and face darkness.  But if we truly want to be with The Father when this life is done, we let the Holy Spirit guide us to Him who is the only way we can truly connect with God.

Which road do you want to follow?  The road leading through the narrow gate or the fancy looking superhighway to nowhere?  Choose wisely, my friends, because your decision impacts you forever.

Dear Lord: We thank you for sending us Jesus Christ to die for our sins and for His gift to us of the Holy Spirit.  Help us to use our free will to make the choice for eternal life, not death, and a future with You as offered by your Son.  In Christ's name we pray, Amen.

God bless you all and have a great Lord's Day.

Loretta Lynch Takes the Equivalent of the "Fifth"

10/29/2016

Picture
Yesterday while most of America was learning about the latest turn in the Clinton email scandal, another event was taking place which also raises serious questions about the current Administration.  Loretta Lynch, the Attorney General of the United States, while responding to a Congressional question by letter about the cash payment of some $1.7B to Iran took the equivalent of the  "Fifth".  She refused to answer the question posed by Senator Marco Rubio and Congressman Mike Pompeo.  The two were asking if she had advised the State Department on the making of a cash payment in a case which has the earmarks of a ransom, something the United States had heretofore never done.

It was a perfectly legitimate question and as representatives of a joint investigative function of the Congress, Rubio and Pompeo had every right to ask the question.  Lynch is, after all, the chief legal officer of the United States and it is her primary responsibility to insure that actions taken by the government are in compliance with American legal requirements and practice.  By taking the equivalent of the Fifth, she has thumbed her nose at the very body that is responsible for oversight of her department and appropriation of funds.

Lynch is the same official who raised eyebrows not long ago by meeting in private with former President Bill Clinton on the tarmac at Los Angeles International Airport just days before her subordinate, FBI Director James Comey announced his decision not to request prosecution of Clinton's wife, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, for violation of laws governing email receipt and transmission of classified material.

It has now also been learned that prior to Comey reopening the Clinton case yesterday and advising Congress of the same, Lynch had suggested that he not do that.  It appears that Comey, understanding the seriousness of the newfound information and the stain that he has already left on the reputation of the nation's chief investigative agency by his earlier inaction, wisely refused to follow her suggestion.  He was facing a possible mutiny by many of his agents since they had expected a request for prosecution due to their findings.

Over the last several years we have had a number of high ranking officials either take the Fifth or clearly "fudge" their answers on serious questions of legality concerning their actions.  The agencies have included the Department of State, Justice, Homeland Security and the IRS and it appears that the Clinton case is bringing added public awareness of the corruption enveloping so much of this Administration in thought, word and action.

Pay attention, America, the short period between now and election day is going to be a very  bumpy ride. And what will happen after the election is done? Well, we'll just have to wait and see.

Sadly things are becoming, to use an old saw, "rotten in the State of Denmark", except ........ we are talking instead about the United States of America.  We all need to pray and ask for God's blessings on the United States and turn our hearts back toward Him in this critical time.  Freedom and liberty are difficult to maintain as weak humans so often put personal gain above the duties they are sworn to uphold.  But freedom and liberty are worth the effort, difficult as it might be, for once lost, they usually never return.

Obamacare is Failing Because it is Designed to Fail

10/28/2016

 At long last the reality of Obamacare is sinking in yet still there are many who drink the Kool Aid.  They remind us of the sheep being led to the shearing stall or maybe even the slaughter.  They just do what they are told and assume that they will be taken care of.  Meanwhile, the premiums rise to the point of non-affordability, deductibles are now so high that many will never see a dollar of their annual expenses covered and the quality of care drops dramatically.

We could talk about this endlessly but today instead we offer an excellent article by Mary Katherine Ham, a great writer for thefederalist.com and a regular guest on a variety of political oriented programs on television.  She is a single mother of two and she shares in the attached article her own story about the spiraling of premium costs and deductibles to the point where her monthly premium is more like a mortgage payment.  So the Affordable Care Act is now UNAFFORDABLE for so many Americans and the growing doctor shortage is creating longer and longer waits for service.  What a sad state of affairs in the nation that has been noted for the best healthcare in the world yet, like so many other things, that reputation is dwindling rapidly.

Here's the link to the article.  Just copy and paste the link into your browser to read:

http://thefederalist.com/2016/10/27/defective-obamacare-health-insurance-product-just-blew/

So we all have a critical choice to make.  We can go on with the same old, same old and all we have to do is vote for Hillary Clinton who promises to "fix" the system.  But since she has never fixed anything in her life, just made things worse while amassing a fortune, guess what will happen?  A single-payer, government run healthcare program will be the results, one size fits all with rationing by the all wise government.  And again, if that's what you seek, vote for Hillary, but don't complain when you get it because it will not prove to be of high quality or in sufficient quantity. When has government ever been the answer for highly complex problem solution?

If you want America back and a doctor-patient centered healthcare program, not one controlled by bean counters in Washington, vote Trump.  You choice, your decision.  Hope you make the right choice.

Dr. Krauthammer: Does the Doctor Need a Doctor?

10/26/2016

Picture
I've always had great respect for Dr. Charles Krauthammer.  Giving up his medical practice after his debilitating car accident and paralysis, he has distinguished himself as an author and long time panelist on the Fox News Network.  Usually I find his commentary quite good; I may not always agree with him but I can understand where he is coming from. Lately, however, since the emergence of Donald Trump on the political scene, I have noticed an extreme case of elitism with some of his comments not making sense to me.

Look, I get it that he is a long time Washington Establishment type and I never expected him to support Trump as the Republican nominee and he hasn't, but his recent utterance on how he will likely vote is puzzling at best. The subject came up when he voiced his view that he cannot support either Trump or Hillary Clinton so he will cast a write-in ballot.  Stating that at least twelve of the candidates in the Republican primary were acceptable, I guess I would understand it if he had picked from that group.  But he didn't.

So what did Dr. Krauthammer suggest?  Well, here comes the punchline.  He said he would probably pick either Paul Ryan or ..... wait for it ..... Ben Sasse.  Why would he not pick one of the tested candidates but instead opt for one of these two?  I suppose I can understand how someone in what they call the elite political circles could suggest Ryan although I think Ryan has sold out his conservatism and his party, but Ben Sasse?  That one I can't even fathom.  Elected to the Senate supposedly to change things in Washington, Sasse, the new Nebraska Senator has gone along with the Establishment on everything and has distinguished himself with nothing.  Not to mention that he comes from a low population state with little impact on nationwide voting impact and he hasn't even finished two years in office on a six year term.

I guess the problem is that when you've spent your life in Washington, you lose all concept of what Americans out here in the hinterlands think.  After all, the politicians jus naturally gravitate that way with all the trappings, so I guess media types, political pundits, and bureaucrats all think that way as well.  And that's exactly why we need a Donald Trump, someone committed to "cleaning the swamp" and clearing out the cobwebs that are ensconced in the hallowed halls.  And I also surmise that in the future those who think like Dr. Krauthammer will either have to widen their circle to get to know the pulse of the people or become irrelevant, a level that so many of them have already reached in our minds.  For win our lose, the movement that has gained so much steam with Donald Trump will not go away if he loses.  It will continue to fester and grow as the people watch their country being destroyed by those who think they know all the answers but really have no clue.

I still love you Dr. K but, come on, open your mind  a little. Spend some time talking to people out here and get a real picture of what America really is and what that means.  You'll never find that in either Washington or New York.  And really, Dr. K, Ben Sasse?

Wikileaks Game Changer: "Obama Knew About Hillary's Emails"

10/26/2016

Picture
Many of us are in the process of receiving notices about our health insurance and where Obamacare is concerned, it is a financial disaster.  Some are receiving increases of up to 125% while deductibles are also rising dramatically. Obama wanted this to be kept quiet until after the November 8th election but the news is out and people are outraged.

As bad as this program is and it is truly a family budget killer, it is nothing to compare with the latest release of Wikileaks  which clearly shows that not only did Obama know about Hillary's unclassified home security system but the two of them had been in contact using it.  Using a moniker of Bobama (not very original), when it came time to face the music over the erupting scandal, Hillary's right hand secretary, Cheryl Mills, pointed it out by email and said that "we need to clean this up".  What's so important about that?

Well, first, it shows that Obama, like Hillary, had no concern about protecting national security by corresponding in such a way and it also shows the probable reason why James Comey didn't prefer charges against the former Secretary of State and First Lady.  Comey had to realize in the review process that this bit of information existed and he probably rightly guessed that it would open him up to charges as well if made public.  If the President was tainted, they would all go down.

Last night in Tallahassee before a large crowd, Donald Trump spoke about this and said that America needs an investigation of the investigation.  It needs to be done by a Special Prosecutor, not an internal government sham. He is absolutely right and America needs to pay attention right now.  Do you want to elect a President who should be facing the "piper" for what she has done?  And remember, this is just one of many issues that Hillary is tainted with and for which she is being protected.  And that, my friends, is why she goes after Trump on his persona, not the issues.  She has no position that will bolster election chances, so she lies.  Richard Nixon is probably rolling over in his grave, a minor issue by comparison to what this Administration has done and continues to do.

Here's the link to the Wikileaks release for those who have missed it:

If you want to make America great again, not continue in decline to a third world status, vote for Donald Trump.  He's not perfect, but compared to Hillary Clinton, he loves America and wants what's best for her and American citizens.  Join us on the #TrumpTrain today.

THE WASHINGTON ESTABLISHMENT: SEX, LIES AND VIDEOTAPES

10/25/2016

Picture
It's not the guilt or innocence, but the seriousness of the charge that matters (or words to that effect)     - Rush Limbaugh

A number of years ago a movie entitled Sex, Lies and Videotapes came out which, at the time, was considered by some to be very risque, yet today it just gets a yawn at best.  But I cite it because that's what Washington has become today, at least the sex and lies part, while the videotapes come from non-traditional new media investigative reporters since the mainstream media refuses to fulfill that function.  They have become fat and lazy, letting the story either come to them or trying to create it in polls.  And they are very careful to make certain that whatever they report supports their ideological view regardless of what the actual truth might be.

Rush Limbaugh pegged it right with his quote or near quote above and if you think about you'll notice how accurately it applies to the the National Establishment, both Democrats and many Republicans alike.  They never look for the real truth as long as they can find something to use for the cover up or smear to just keep on doing things the same way.  It's been going on for a long time but today it's on steroids and the loser in the game they play is we, the people.

In this election season the focus of their misdoings is Donald Trump and far be it for this writer to say that Trump is a patron saint.  No, he is a mere mortal just like the rest of us but he has been singled out by the press with a viciousness of bad reporting like we as a nation have never seen before. And while he is guilty of "locker room talk" as are most boys or men at some stage of life, the media, responding to their masters on the Left, parade out a group of women with stories with holes bigger than swiss cheese which are ludicrous.  Nearly all the stories have been fully debunked and the last one, using a porn star represented by Gloria Allred, would be laughable if the public wasn't so gullible and receptive to poor reporting.  But then again, Americans don't read much anymore and we have become a world of the thirty second sound byte.

Contrast Trump's words with the actions over multiple decades by Hillary Clinton, a woman who has been covered by scandal with her husband Bill since their days in Arkansas.  The more power the Clintons amassed, the more the money poured in and now, as a candidate for President with so many weak links in her armor, the media has decided just to ignore the truth and hopefully let her hide until after the election.  And the Republican leadership isn't much better, captured by their own version of perks and power, coupled with the same arrogance and disdain for the American people that the Clintons hold.  Some of them actually are actively working for Clinton, realizing that should she lose they will be found out as well.  The term "Drain the Swamp" accurately describes the state of affairs in our national government in Washington and it's found in all branches.

We are broke, Obamacare is destroying health care, our military are being used as pawns and are paying a horrible price, the tax system is corrupt as is the Department of Justice and Hillary will actually do nothing to change those things.  She has a thirty year track record of doing for herself and profiting handsomely while doing so, while our cities have been ravaged by crime, poverty and loss of hope.  And remember, if you think Trump is not the man of the people, why does Hillary have the full support of Wall Street and the billionaire class? It's because she detests the common man and it even shows in both Wikileaks and Project Veritas.

These are some of the key reasons why both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump came to the forefront this year.  America didn't want Hillary and it surely didn't want Jeb Bush. America is looking for something much different, even if the two represent the opposite ends of the spectrum.  But Hillary did Bernie in with her dirty tricks and the support of the corrupt media and now, if the media is successful, she will do the same thing to Trump.

But a funny thing happened on the way to the election, actually two things: Wikileaks and Project Veritas.  Julian Assange and James O'Keefe have both done America a service, for anyone wanting to learn really who Hillary is and what she stands for can readily find out just by reviewing their materials, including emails (Wikileaks) and video (Project Veritas).  The truth is there to see if only we look and so the question is: will we and will we do so in time?

I guess we'll find out on November 8th and the answer has the potential to either exacerbate our present national predicament or turn America in a direction which is more traditional in the image of how she was created.

If you want more of the same as the last eight years, ignore the truth and vote for Hillary. If you think America is worth keeping as a constitutional democratic republic, vote for Trump. And the fact that Trump is still standing tall after this campaign tells many of us that America wants to choose him.  We just hope it's enough of us.

Let's keep the most unique example of freedom and self-governance alive for our children and grandchildren because increased centralization and political correctness will lead to the death of individualism and liberty. Once we lose it, it likely will never return.  Vote for Trump, for while he is not perfect, his plan of attack for his first one hundred and twenty days (recently published here) is a good step in the right direction to keep us free. It's certainly better than the alternative.

A Modern Day Gettysburg Address: Trump Style

10/23/2016

PictureDonald Trump in Gettysburg
When Donald Trump visited Gettysburg this past Saturday morning, no one knew exactly what to expect.  All that was known in advance was the three hundred invited guests would be joining him at the Eisenhower complex for an important political policy speech.  Boy, was it ever and with it her rejuvenated his followers for the homestretch of a campaign that the media is trying to stifle, yet it is still every much enthused.  The Donald spelled out for America his plans for the first fifty days of a Trump presidency.  The plans offered would, if enacted, would serve to stand the Washington Establishment on its head while bring the concept of a nation of, by and for the people to center stage where it should have always been.

If you are a Conservative, a Libertarian, a Patriot, a Nationalist, or even what we used to call a "Blue Dog Democrat", the plan cited below should be attractive to you. And all you #NeverTrump former Republicans or whatever you call yourself these days should feel the same way.  Of course, you are disappointed, but to take the chance of electing Hillary Clinton, a woman who has taken a stand for open borders, unlimited immigration, strong support for the UN New World Order program, and destruction of the Constitution as it was created is worse than foolish.  After all, all she seeks is for the "rich" to pay their "fair share" even though she won't define rich or pair share.  The reason: If you are reasonably successful in Hillary's AmeriKa, you are part of the rich.

Who are you going to blame if and when that happens?  Are you going to blame Trump? Well, it won't fly and you'll be left having part ownership of the disaster that will follow.

So read Trump's Plan.  You don't have to agree with every component of it, but at least recognize that comparing a plan that puts America first, not the New World Order, is what must be accomplished if we want to maintain our freedom and sovereignty. That should be the overriding factor in everyone's mind and besides, Trump's plan will undoubtedly have some fine-tuning but at least he has offered a very comprehensive plan, unlike his opponent who has offered no plans, just words, slogans and propaganda.

With that said, here's the nuts and bolts of his plan:

                                                         DONALD J. TRUMP
                             CONTRACT WITH THE AMERICAN VOTER

“What follows is my 100-day action plan to Make America Great Again. It is a contract between me and the American voter and begins with restoring honesty, accountability and change to Washington. Therefore, on the first day of my term of office, my administration will immediately pursue the following six measures to clean up the corruption and special interest collusion in Washington,
DC:

FIRST, propose a Constitutional Amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress;

SECOND, a hiring freeze on all federal employees to reduce federal workforce through attrition (exempting military, public safety, and public health);

THIRD, a requirement that for every new federal regulation, two existing regulations must be eliminated;

FOURTH, a 5-year ban on White House and Congressional officials becoming lobbyists after they leave government service;

FIFTH, a lifetime ban on White House officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government;

SIXTH, a complete ban on foreign lobbyists raising money for American elections. On the same day, I will begin taking the following 7 actions to protect American workers:

FIRST, I will announce my intention to renegotiate NAFTA or withdraw from the deal under Article 2205;

SECOND, I will announce our withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership;

THIRD, I will direct my Secretary of the Treasury to label China a currency manipulator;

FOURTH, I will direct the Secretary of Commerce and U.S. Trade Representative to identify all foreign trading abuses that unfairly impact American workers and direct them to use every tool under American and international law to end those abuses immediately;

FIFTH, I will lift the restrictions on the production of $50 trillion dollars’ worth of job-producing American energy reserves, including shale, oil, natural gas and clean coal;

SIXTH, lift the Obama-Clinton roadblocks and allow vital energy infrastructure projects, like the Keystone Pipeline, to move forward;

SEVENTH, cancel billions in payments to U.N. climate change programs and use the money to fix America’s water and environmental infrastructure. Additionally, on the first day, I will take the following five actions to restore security and the constitutional rule of law:

FIRST, cancel every unconstitutional executive action, memorandum and order issued by President Obama;

SECOND, begin the process of selecting a replacement for Justice Scalia from one of the 20 judges on my list, who will uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States;

THIRD, cancel all federal funding to Sanctuary Cities;

FOURTH, begin removing the more than 2 million criminal illegal immigrants from the country and cancel visas to foreign countries that won’t take them back;

FIFTH, suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. All vetting of people coming into our country will be considered extreme vetting. Next, I will work with Congress to introduce the following broader legislative measures and fight for their passage within the first 100 days of my Administration:

1. Middle Class Tax Relief and Simplification Act. An economic plan designed to grow the economy 4% per year and create at least 25 million new jobs through massive tax reduction and simplification, in combination with trade reform, regulatory relief, and lifting the restrictions on American energy. The largest tax reductions are for the middle class. A middle-class family with 2 children will get a 35% tax cut. The current number of brackets will be reduced from 7 to 3, and tax forms will likewise be greatly simplified. The business rate will be lowered from 35 to 15 percent, and the trillions of dollars of
American corporate money overseas will then be available to come back home at a 10 percent rate.

2. End the Offshoring Act. Establishes tariffs to discourage companies from laying off their workers in order to relocate in other countries and ship their products back to the U.S. tax-free.

3. American Energy and Infrastructure Act. Leverages public-private partnerships, and private investments through tax incentives, to spur $1 trillion in infrastructure investment over 10 years. It is revenue neutral.

4. School Choice and Education Opportunity Act. Redirects education dollars to gives parents the right to send their children to the public, private, charter, magnet, religious or home school of their choice. Ends common core, brings education supervision to local communities. It expands vocational and technical education, and makes 2 and 4-year college more affordable.

5. Repeal and Replace Obamacare Act. Fully repeals Obamacare and replaces it with Health Savings Accounts, the ability to purchase health insurance across state lines, and lets states manage Medicaid funds. Reforms will also include cutting the red tape at the FDA: there are over 4,000 drugs awaiting approval, and we especially want to speed the approval of life-saving medications.

6. Affordable Childcare and Eldercare Act. Allows Americans to deduct childcare and elder care from their taxes, incentivizes employers to provide on-site childcare services, and creates tax-free Dependent Care Savings Accounts for both young and elderly dependents, with matching contributions for low-income families.

7. End Illegal Immigration Act. Fully funds the construction of a wall on our southern border with the full understanding that the country Mexico will be reimbursing the United States for the full cost of such wall; establishes a 2-year mandatory minimum federal prison sentence for illegally re-entering the U.S. after a previous deportation, and a 5-year mandatory minimum for illegally re-entering for those with felony convictions, multiple misdemeanor convictions or two or more prior deportations; also reforms visa rules to enhance penalties for overstaying and to ensure open jobs are offered to American workers first.

8. Restoring Community Safety Act. Reduces surging crime, drugs and violence by creating a Task Force on Violent Crime and increasing funding for programs that train and assist local police; increases resources for federal law enforcement agencies and
federal prosecutors to dismantle criminal gangs and put violent offenders behind bars.

9. Restoring National Security Act. Rebuilds our military by eliminating the defense sequester and expanding military investment; provides Veterans with the ability to receive public VA treatment or attend the private doctor of their choice; protects our vital infrastructure from cyber-attack; establishes new screening procedures for immigration
to ensure those who are admitted to our country support our people and our values

10. Clean up Corruption in Washington Act. Enacts new ethics reforms to Drain the Swamp and reduce the corrupting influence of special interests on our politics.

On November 8, Americans will be voting for this 100-day plan
to restore prosperity to our economy, security to our communities, and honesty to our government.”

Thank you, Mr. Trump and God bless America. May she ever be free.
