An Open Letter to the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives

The United States House of Representatives in session.
Dear  Madam Speaker:

I am writing this open letter to you this day to voice my displeasure with the way you have decided to carry out your duties since your assumption of the Speaker's chair following the off-year Congressional election of 2018.  While you and your Democratic House members ran on a platform of working together with the Republican Party to accomplish things that needed to be done, you have instead chosen to work for division, disruption and to negate the will of the people.  You have constantly tried to hide behind the Constitution as the reason for doing what you have been doing while,  in reality, your actions have been an affront to that sacred document, a fact which I believe you deep down inside must know yet do not care.   Why have you done these things? Well, it's pretty clear its because of your party's hatred of Donald Trump, the President of the United States. Why do you hate him? You do so because of his stand on a platform he released in July 2016 which has guided him on what needed to be done as President. For the first time in history, we elected a man who has tried to be true to his campaign promises and has had much success despite the schemes you have been a part of to stop him.   From the words of New York Times on the day he was first sworn in, you and your party of been working around the clock to try and remove him from office.  You thought he would give up and quit, but he hasn't and the fact is that he just gets stronger.

You say he is vile and speaks badly, yet the very things that you say of him your party and the minions in the press generated with your own vile and disgusting commentary and behavior.  The Mueller fiasco, the impeachment and now even a potential health crisis which has been blown all out of proportion and it won't work. Whether it be your committee chairmen or even your back bench members, Democrats have been afforded wide latitude by you to speak and act in disregard of common decency to the President and it has been duly noted by the good people of this land.  Had you decided to try and work with the President, you might have been afforded a few carrots along the way, but you instead chose to shoot the works.  You should have been in Washington long enough (many years on your part) to know that there are consequences to losing and winning elections.  You try and deny those consequences at your own peril as the loser today.

Today in particular we are looking at the CoronaVirus (Covid19) and how America can better cope with it and keep the spread and the severity under control.  Is it really a doomsday event as you and the media often try to proclaim and has Donald Trump avoided the decisions that needed to be made? Well, it is serious and needs to be seriously dealt with, but, of course, it has been presented by the media in the worst possible way. They want to sell their stories and they don't like the President. They are tied at the hip with you and your party and all we have to do is listen to your commentary and it is like an echo chamber for the news.  Has Trump been remiss in his duty? Absolutely not, in fact he has broken new ground with an aggressive approach using a private-public joint enterprise to streamline efforts for quick response.  For your part, you see the solution as creation of another government entity which would likely just slow the process down when time is of the essence. This has been done in conjunction with a big dose of fearmongering, claiming the President has done nothing. You argue that he should have asked for test kits offered by the World Health Organization (WHO), yet those very kits have shown a forty-eight percent rate of false negative test results which makes them basically useless. It was for this reason that the President devised a plan by both government and business leaders in the health and related fields of endeavor to quickly develop accurate kits.  The delay was not caused by the President, but by the cumbersome regulations that had been generated by the previous generation.  These have been circumvented by a new protocol which still maintains a quality control system to make sure the products are good one.

You and your party have also gone so far as to try to blame the United States, not China, for the health issue's development in the first place. Contrary to what the politically  correct politicians of your party claim as well as the news media, Wuhan in China was clearly where Covid19 started and grew and China tried to cover it up as long as they could. Sadly, however, when the truth came out, the spread was already underway.  The President is aware of the unreliability of China both in terms of safety and national security when it comes to important products such as pharmaceuticals and he has stated many times he is willing to work with you and your party on a solution, yet you instead proclaim outrage and refuse to be reasonable. In the meantime, the success met on the Covid19 issue offers the potential to be used in similar situation that will surely come in the future with other viruses and the ability to respond quickly and effectively utilizing the private sector, the engine of innovation and technical advancement, in conjunction with government agencies.  What a refreshing change that will be.

Wouldn't it be really refreshing if instead of trying to destroy the President and belittle him, you opted to work with him? He has shown his willingness to do so, yet you have stubbornly tried to assert yourself almost in his place.  And let's face it, the truth is that the President is the only elected official in the land who represents all Americans and he has tried diligently to do just that, with many groups now having more success economically than ever before.  But he is not going to sacrifice American citizens to your scheme of making them nothing more that world citizens.  No, Donald Trump is a Patriot  and will stand for America first, as should you.  That's what you were elected to do.  And also remember, aside from your lofty position as Speaker, you actually only represent one small district in San Francisco, a district that is in itself very different than most electoral districts.  You do not represent the heart and soul of America.

I could go much farther, but I'll leave it here for I hope by now you understand what the real point of this is and it's really quite simple.  America doesn't want to be a minion of the New World Order. America is a sovereign nation, a nation which is a leader, not a follower of trends and ideas that end up in oppression and tyranny.  America is about freedom and opportunity only limited by one's own initiative and hard work and with the ability to worship God openly without fear.  It is not a nation that will tolerate those who hate her and those who aren't willing to work hard within their limits to help themselves.  You, Madam Speaker, need to open your eyes and look beyond the Beltway and San Francisco to see the wonders of this land.  If you do so, you will understand why America became what she is and how she intends to make things even better for all citizens. That is what Donald Trump is all about and that's why he will be reelected despite what you try to throw at him.  You can have your own ideas and he will listen. But don't think that you can try and force the President to accept those ideas if they violate the principles that America is all about, for you will fail miserably.  Be an American for a change and realize that Americans will always push back against too much government. It's in our blood. We'll keep our guns, our Bibles, our culture and our beliefs and you can either accept that or fail miserably if you refuse to listen.  You will never win trying to change those things because they are all part of the essence of America.  It's just the way we are and will continue to be. I will pray that you have the wisdom to listen.

Sincerely,

A Patriotic American Citizen

Oh, wow!! Great letter!! You told it to her like it is and didn't mince words. She obviously thinks she has some sort of power that she does not have or never will have. I have never in my life seen a group of elected government officials who have tried everything they can think of to demean and belittle a standing president. They have cheated and lied to the American people, and the sad fact is they don't give a rat's ass. Shame on her and her group of immoral cronies.

Many nights my husband & I have layed awake trying to think of ways to just get people to open their hearts to one another, to just use words to reach out to one another to talk without hate, without subjects being taboo. While those in our government continue to promote hate; continue to divide and weaken each of us. Under President Trump, New Yorker he may be, but he keeps on keeping on and we are following his lead getting stronger all the time.
