But I didn't pick the title above to really talk about the work week, instead I am thinking of where do we Americans go. We had a day of rest and worship, so what do we do now that we're back to the humdrum of daily life?
I think for all of us who are patriotic, God-fearing Americans, the answer is to stay alert, follow what's going on, and take whatever action you think appropriate within the foundations of freedom and liberty while also being peaceful.
There is a lot going on in Washington. New scandals are erupting daily as more people come forward tired of living lies. It's mind boggling and it requires us to focus carefully. I've heard a lot of pundits saying that one scandal isn't important but another is and I submit that they are all important. Any violation of freedom and liberty is important so each of us needs to keep an active list of what's important and challenge those things that are flat out unconstitutional.
And we must stay in touch with one another. Not only is there safety in numbers, but it is an important way to keep up courage and not falter. Many will try to intimidate conservatives, many want to silence us, but it is important to hold your ground. With God at your side there is nothing to fear because whatever is done in this world is miniscule compared to His power and grace.
Good friends, be of good cheer and keep your eye focused on the prize. The prize is returning our beloved country to the course of freedom and opportunity under God. Don't let anyone try to take it away from you. Remember, it is your inalienable right. It comes from God, not government.
Be strong, be brave, be a God-fearing American. God bless you all.
