While the case was brought over San Diego County, the ruling will no doubt be a blessing for many lawful citizens in the Bay area as well. San Francisco has had a huge spike in crime in recent years partially due to its sanctuary city status for illegals. Street crime, beatings and break-ins have been on the rise and this decision should give God-fearing citizens comfort in knowing they will be able to better protect themselves.
Since several other courts had ruled opposite of the Ninth, notably in the Northeast, the decision may trigger the Supreme Court ultimately having to make a final ruling on what is legal. With gun purchasing greatly on the upswing as Americans fear Obama's reckless overreach for power including gun control, this action may give the nation pause to any more tinkering with the Constitution. After all, even in Connecticut, where strict gun registration requirements were recently enacted, thousands of good citizens have refused to cooperate. Is this stand of resistance to tyranny becoming a growing trend? Only time will tell for sure. But remember, for a government and its rules to be enforceable, they have to acceptable to the will of the people, otherwise they will crumble.
In the meantime, and especially those of you in California, now you can go out and buy your "sweetie" a Smith and Wesson or other appropriate defense weapon for a belated Valentine's Day gift. And send them to training and get a carry permit to insure they can defend themselves in the event that they come face to face with a life threatening event. Always be ready. I hope they never need to use it in self-defense but preparation is the best means to insure safety.
God bless America and stand with Him in all that you do, but always be cautious, never reckless and your gun can be one of your best friends. Used wisely, it is a blessing. Have a great day.
