Coming in after dark to surf the news (I've given up on most television news), I found two interesting stories, one about Texas, the other in Florida, which either have been given no or very little coverage. I find them both to be outrageous and think all Americans should be outraged as well.
According to bizpacreview.com, Major Nadal Hasan, the Army doctor who is in actuality an Islamic-terrorist (though the government won't admit it), is still drawing his pay. To date he has received $278K courtesy of Uncle Sam. It seems that until he is convicted of his murders at Fort Hood, he will continue to draw full pay.
And this brings to mind the question: Why is this trial taking so long? There are plenty of witnesses, he clearly shouted his praise to Allah preparatory to his evil deeds, and the evidence was quickly gathered. Yet the Army is dragging its feet, slow to act as if it is trying to find a way to exonerate this evildoer.
At the same time, many of his victims are having trouble paying their bills and feeding their families. Why? Because the Army declared this act of terrorism "workplace violence", which allows them to avoid paying the victims under combat-related hazardous duty rules.
What has happened to my Army? They use kid gloves on Hasan while persecuting Christian soldiers based on the say-so of left wing radicals.
One other article, something that just happened yesterday, also surfaced. As some of you might know, the Tea Party organizations held protests at a number of IRS field offices yesterday. The protests were to express the outrage over the illegal treatment of Tea Party and other conservatives by using the tax system as a silencer. This in and of itself is worthy of sending some government employees and higher ups to jail, but it gets even worse.
At the Orlando protest, which was small due to late notification, the DHS folks were there in full force watching and probably taking pictures. There was no violence, just peace, yet once again the government singles out the "good guys" for harassment while those who clearly and openly foment violence get away with it.
I don't know how many other Tea Party events were met with the same governmental show of force but I suspect it is many, and it is just another example of our government run amuck.
Take care of yourself, fellow citizens. Don't use violence but also don't ever allow yourself to be silenced. Speak and write the truth, for the truth will set you free and your Lord and Savior always knows what is true. God bless you.
