What in the world are we doing making military commitments in Syria. Both sides hate us, they are either Hezbollah or Al Queda, both terrorist groups, and both believe in Shariah Law and abjectly reject Christianity. If they have their way, Christians would be killed along with the Jews.
So why are we going to support a group with weapons who will ultimately use them against us? And since they probably already have weapons taken from Libya, where is this going to leave us when the civil war is over?
The government's handling of Egypt was a disaster and so was Libya, and both were mild compared to what we are probably getting ourselves into in Syria. Enough is enough already. If we want to help someone in the Middle East, show true support for our friends in Israel, the only country in the region we can count as a friend.
So now we have our Marines, our fearless force that has been spread thin all over the world without the real moral support of our President, sitting at the border with Syria. And this is all being done by a President who couldn't wait to get us out of Afghanistan. Oh the irony of it all.
And remember, many of our Marines are Christians and, like other believing military personnel, are now being treated with disdain by Defense Department leaders and edicts. This is shameful.
Other than Rand Paul, most of our elected officials continue in their stupor, refusing to speak out or take a position. And of course the old war horses, led by John (I never saw a war I didn't want to be involved in) McCain, are just itching for another war. After all, they have to pay back their big Defense contractor donors for their huge campaign contributions. So speak up, folks, and let's stop the madness. Our personnel in uniform deserve better. America First, and always with the true God. Let's solve some real problems back at home for a change and leave Syria to those who will never change. We're not going to change a mindset that has been evil for thousands of years.
Sorry about that folks, but it is really bothering me. So now, go out and have a great weekend. And thank God that you are fortunate enough not to be living in a "hell hole" with no hope. I hope we can find peace and I hope America can find common sense again in what we do as a nation. It's about time. God be with us and don't forget the Sabbath tomorrow. Always trust Him.
