But by the time we get to Wednesday, sometimes our spiritual battery gets battered and bruised and we need renewal. Why do you think so many churches have a Wednesday night prayer meeting? It offers a gathering of like minded believers who want a little added encouragement to get them through the remainder of the work week.
Now independent Bible study and prayer offers the same nourishment for you, but the added reinforcement of being in the company of like minded Christians can give an even added boost to some. But remember, wherever you are or wherever you go, as long as you have Him in your heart, you are never alone. He wants that heart to stay open so you can converse with Him whenever possible. It's a comfort and a joy you can count on forever; He'll never fail you.
So here's to the end of "Hump Day" and the rest of the week. Then a day of fun and relaxation and the Lord's Day, the Day designed for you to put Him first.
Dear Lord, Thank you for Thy goodness, grace and mercy and for always being there for us. Give us the strength to perform our daily work in a manner that is pleasing to Thee, always doing what is right in all that we do. Bless us and keep us throughout the work week, that we may lo0k forward to that special time with you each Sabbath. And thank you for the gift of Thy love and opportunity for Salvation, for only through Salvation and Thy grace can we hope to spend Eternity with Thee. We ask in the Name of Thy Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the Cross for us so that we might live, Amen.
May He be with you in all that you do this day and week. God bless.
